Experience

During college, Alyssa began writing articles for digital publications, including Spoon University. While in college, one of her Spoon University articles about all the extravagant food-related things Rick Ross could have done with the $5.7 million he owed the IRS got picked up by Food Network for their Snapchat story. After graduation, she pursued a career in digital marketing and copywriting, working first in the health and wellness industry and then in the travel and tourism sector. Feeling drawn back to her passion for authoring articles, Alyssa began freelance writing as a side hustle, then quickly decided to pursue it as a full-time career.

Education

Alyssa graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a B.A. in English and a certificate in public and professional writing, as well as a minor in marketing from the Kelley School of Business.
