Why Andy Cohen Regrets Asking Oprah Winfrey About Her Sexuality

When Oprah Winfrey was a guest on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" in 2013, Andy Cohen asked her a regrettable question about her sexuality.
During his "Ask Andy" panel at 2022’s BravoCon, Cohen said, "I asked Oprah, 'Have you ever swum in the lady pond?' And she was like, 'No,'" according to People magazine.
Cohen asked Winfrey this question during a show game called Plead the Fifth, where he asks guests three potentially private questions.
Cohen not only regrets asking it but also how he asked it: "I asked it so poorly," he said during the panel. He heard from Winfrey’s best friend, Gayle King, the next day.
At the panel, Cohen explained how Gayle told him Oprah didn’t know what the lady pond was. He responded: "'Well, then I need to re-ask the question!' But [Oprah] hasn’t come back."
