No Memories
Noelle and Cali Sheldon weren't yet two years old when “Friends” ended, so while they obviously know they played Emma on the show, the girls are unfortunately unable to reminisce about what it was like to star in “Friends.” Cali told Bustle, “I don't remember anything about being on the show, but I've seen the pictures.”
Watching Friends
“Friends” was a relatively mild show, but that's not to say it didn't have adult storylines, so mom Gretchen Carpenter didn't let her young girls watch the show until they were 13. The twin sisters were already planning for a Netflix binge-watching session a few days after their 13th birthday.
After Friends
The Sheldon sisters took two years off before starring in their next role — another child named Emma in the film “Novel Romance.” The twins also played the part of Darcy Gibney in a TV series called “Life,” but only for the pilot, and they stepped away from acting for years, before returning in 2012.
Priorities
As child actors living in the epicenter of show business, you'd have to imagine it would be hard to stay grounded, but Noelle and Cali are far from jaded. Their mother told Bustle, "Our girls go to a normal school, and they go on auditions once in a while, but we don't make it our top priority."
Cali’s Future
Acting isn't their end goal, and Cali has an incredibly specific career in mind. In an interview with Bustle, then-12-year-old Cali said, "First I want to go to UCLA and get a degree in biochemistry. [...] Then I want to petition for women to be allowed into a football league,” before adding that she also wants to “write a book.”
