Nearly 30 years later, McCarthy joined the Hallmark family during Hallmark’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” series in 2012 with “Christmas Dance.” The actor plays Jack, an executive dating his boss’ sophisticated daughter, Demi, whom he wishes to propose to at her father’s yearly Christmas dance, and begins taking dance lessons.
