Experience

Nya joined The List as a news writer in 2023. She first became a published author for the lifestyle publication Affinity Magazine at 16. Nya previously worked as a culture staff writer at Washington Square News and served as editor for the D.C.-based arts magazine 8th Wonder. Her writing has also been published in NYC Local, Pavement Pieces, where she covered voter stories during the 2020 presidential election.

Education

Nya has a bachelor's degree in media, culture, and communication from New York University with a minor in journalism from the Arthur L. Carter School of Journalism.
