Mila joined The List news team as a writer in 2024. She has loved pop culture since picking up her first Girl's Life Magazine when she was young. She also discovered her love for magazines, often stealing her mother's ESSENCE magazines. In college, Mila wrote for Her Campus' first HBCU chapter, and Mila even had the chance to intern at ESSENCE.

Education

Mila received a B.A. in journalism with a concentration in online and print writing. She tested so well on the English placement test that she tested out of English and was able to begin her major classes freshman year.
