- Michael has been watching soaps (daytime and primetime) since the 1980s. Favorites include The Edge of Night, Santa Barbara, Knots Landing, Dynasty, The Secrets of Midland Heights, Guiding Light, One Life to Live, The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives, and of course The Bold and the Beautiful. He was a judge for the Daytime Emmy Awards in all the soap categories for several years.
- Having worked as an actor, director, playwright, agent, and producer, Michael has extensive knowledge of the theatre industry. His plays have been produced all throughout the U.S., Canada, and London.
- An adult level figure skating having passed his Level 6 Certificate, Michael skates at the Ice House in Hackensack, NJ, home of many Olympic medalists. He's an avid fan of the sport and knows the difference between a lutz and loop.
Experience
Michael is an award-winning playwright, novelist, and screenwriter. He's had 13 novels published by Kensington Books including The Archangel Academy Series and The Ferrara Family Mysteries, and his plays have been produced throughout the U.S. and in London. Several of Michael's plays can be licensed at Playscripts.com and TRWPlays.com and two plays – CLOUDY and 5G/10B – have been published in Smith & Kraus's Best 10 Minute Plays for 2 Actors: 2005. As a freelance writer, Michael's written for and contributed content to Camp Broadway, Kids' Choice, FamilyPC, Soap Opera Weekly, PictureTel, TheBark.com, and many more. He was born, raised, and recently relocated to New Jersey.
Education
Michael graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in journalism concentrating in public relations. He's also studied playwriting and screenwriting at The New School and Gotham Writer's Workshop.
