Experience

Ethan joined The List as a freelance entertainment news writer in 2024. While earning his master's degree, he cultivated his dream of becoming an arts and entertainment journalist by writing features, previews and reviews for Rochester's CITY Magazine, Central New York Magazine and The NewHouse, and by taking immersion trips to New York City and Toronto. For his capstone project, Ethan interviewed and reported on several nationally-recognized performers as a journalism intern for the Charleston City Paper during its coverage of the 2024 Spoleto Festival USA.

Education

Ethan graduated from Syracuse University's Goldring Arts Journalism and Communications master's program. He previously earned a B.A. in cinema & screen studies and journalism from SUNY Oswego.
