- In 2011, Elliott began his entertainment career in reality television, where he was sent all over the country to audition wealthy families in hopes of finding the next Kardashians.
- He once worked for Ashton Kutcher's production company on a hidden camera show where he wrote prank situations for celebrities like Natasha Leggero, Charlie Murphy, Iliza Shlesinger, and Bobby Lee.
- As a lifelong consumer of entertainment and pop culture, he still uses an RSS reader to read dozens of daily articles that span celebrity, film, television, music, and gaming.
Experience
Elliott has been writing in the orbits of film, television, and entertainment for over a decade. He has switched between writing about Hollywood during his tenure at Yahoo! Celebrity and writing for Hollywood as a screenwriter for studios and companies like Warner Brothers and SK Global. He has also worked as a copywriter for experimental digital artists as well as in audioseries where he wrote pulpy, never-ending soap operas. Outside of entertainment, Elliott writes and curates a personal substack about cancer awareness and patient advocacy through narrative nonfiction.
Education
Elliott has a bachelor's degree in Communication from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. As the editor-in-chief of his high school newspaper, he launched a failed bid to bring the 2008 Olympics to his hometown of Libertyville, IL.
