Adam Cherian

• Adam started off by reporting on the Austin live music scene, and he has gotten press opportunities for larger events like the Austin City Limits music festival.
• He's an avid lover of pop music and has dedicated most of his writing career to reviewing the records and songs of the artists he loves in the pop sphere.

Experience

With a love of all things pop culture, Adam has taken his foundational interest in the arts and has been writing and working in journalism for almost five years. Starting his journalistic career in high school by working with his school's local TV announcement channel, he has taken that knowledge and used it to write for his alma mater's music magazine, Afterglow ATX, in which he became managing editor. While writing for Afterglow, he also wrote for other notable newspapers like The Daily Texan and the local Austin Chronicle.

Education

Adam attended the University of Texas at Austin majoring in journalism, with a minor in history. His focus was on magazine and newspaper writing, with a specific interest in entertainment, music, and the arts.
