Heather Rae El Moussa Can't Stop Gushing Over Tarek
To say that Heather Rae El Moussa is overjoyed to be expecting her first child with husband Tarek El Moussa would be an understatement. The pair was undergoing IVF treatments and planning to have an embryo implanted next fall when the surprising news came. "I think when you least expect it and there's no stress in your life, the world just brought us what was meant to be," Heather told People. "I'm so excited that it happened like this."
The "Selling Sunset" star has come a long way in her desire to have her own child. When Heather met Tarek, she was content simply being a "bonus mom" to Taylor and Brayden, Tarek's two children with ex-wife Christina Hall. But as her relationship with Tarek grew, Heather had a change of heart. "He's such a good dad," she explained. "That was another reason why I wanted to create something with him. Seeing him with Taylor and Braden, he's just so obsessed with them. And he's such a doting, amazing dad. I can't wait to see him with our baby."
Heather has been bringing her fans along on her pregnancy journey, sharing on Instagram the big news that she and Tarek will be welcoming a boy in early 2023. She even opened up about the skin issues she's been dealing with while expecting, as well as the miracle product she's been using on her baby bump. And through it all, she cannot stop gushing about her husband.
Heather El Moussa hopes her baby boy is 'just like his daddy'
Heather El Moussa is counting down the days until her first child — a boy — arrives in early 2023. In the meantime, she is thankful to be having a child with husband, Tarek El Moussa, explaining on Instagram that "there's something extra special about having a baby with a man you already know is an incredible dad. Seeing my husband be such an amazing dad over the years to miss Tay and Bray Bray has melted my heart." She added, "I hope he's just like his daddy but maybe with mommy's nose and lips."
Heather has also revealed that Tarek's two children, Taylor and Brayden, are super excited to add a new sibling to the family and have even been trying to come up with names for the little one. "The most fun part of it all is how sweet and supportive Tay and Bray have been," she wrote on Instagram.
And a new baby isn't the only project Heather and Tarek are working on for 2023. Heather announced that the couple will also launch a new HGTV series, "The Flipping El Moussas," which will follow the newlyweds as they flip houses "from multi-million dollar homes in Los Angeles to a tiny cabin in Big Bear, California, and everything in between."
