Before marrying Meghan Markle, Prince Harry was considered one of the most eligible bachelors in the world (via Town & Country), and he dated many beautiful women before falling head over heels in love with his future wife. One of Harry's most serious relationships was with model Cressida Bonas. The Duke of Sussex dated Bonas for two years before the couple called it quits in 2014, per Tatler.
Rumors also began flying that Harry and the model split because she wanted to focus on her acting career. However, media scrutiny was also thought to play a part in the demise of their relationship. According to the book, "Battle of Brothers," Cressida allegedly didn't like the amount of attention that was her due to her romance with the Duke of Sussex (via The Mirror). The book also claimed that the model watched Kate Middleton fall under intense harsh criticism, which spooked her a bit.
However, the relationship was a total wash. Town & Country reports that Cressida is the person who encouraged Harry to seek therapy and get his mental health in check when he began to spiral. Author Tina Brown claims that Harry even wrote his ex-girlfriend a letter after their breakup to thank her for pushing him to seek treatment for his demons.

The model got engaged to her college boyfriend, Harry Wentworth-Stanley in 2018 (via Tatler). The two later walked down the aisle in an intimate wedding back in 2020. This week, the news of Cressida's pregnancy began to circulate after she was seen walking her dog in London with a noticeable baby bump in tow, per Geo TV. A friend of the model's recently told The Daily Mail that she's thrilled about what the future holds. "Cressie's really excited about this next stage in her life," the insider dished.
Meanwhile, Cressida isn't the only one of Prince Harry's exes to have recently started a family. The Duke of Sussex's former flame Chelsy Davy and her husband Sam Cutmore-Scott, welcomed their first child, a son named Leo, earlier this year (via Daily Mail).
In addition, Cressida should have plenty of friends to offer her advice about becoming a mother as her close pals like Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice also have young children, per Hello! Magazine.
