Meghan Markle's New Accessory Has A Special Hidden Meaning
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has recently caught flack from the public for how she has been dressing. It's no secret that she and her husband Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex are constantly under public scrutiny. Even before the couple's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey and their exit from their royal duties for life in California, fans weren't always impressed with the outfits the duchess wore (via Insider). However, it seems that the backlash has gotten more intense since she has fallen out of favor with some of the royal family's fans.
A personal stylist and life coach told Express UK that Meghan doesn't take much consideration into styling her figure well. This, of course, is a personal opinion, but these types of comments have been looming since she began dating the Duke of Sussex. Despite that, some fans of the royals have accused her sister-in-law Kate Middleton of copying her style (per International Business Times).
It isn't always easy to impress royal fans when it comes to fashion choices. However, Meghan's latest accessory is both beautiful and carries a special meaning, making it hard to criticize.
Meghan Markle's diamond ring has been on display during recent appearances
Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, recently showed off two matching diamond rings during her most recent public appearances (via Page Six). Fans caught a glimpse of the new bling during her trips to the Invictus Games and the Trooping the Colours ceremonies, but it was on her most recent visit to New York City that they got the media talking.
Meghan has been photographed wearing the Shiffon "1972 Tennis Pinky Ring" that — aside from being gorgeous — has a special meaning. The ring pays homage to the 50th anniversary of the Title IX laws, which proved to be a massive moment in the battle for gender equality in both life and sports. "We designed the Shiffon Co. 'Duet' pinky ring to represent the pinky promise to pay it forward to support women — and so many of the women here have been our mentors and created the energy of the ring, which donates 50% of the profits to fund seed investments for female founders," the creators of the ring explained.
The Duchess of Sussex is no stranger to beautiful jewelry or rings in particular. She is always wearing her engagement ring, wedding band, and a sentimental third ring on her ring finger (per Woman and Home). This new pinky ring with a special meaning is a welcome addition to the collection.
