Ex-wife to Donald Trump and mother to Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump, Ivana Trump has died. During the 1980s, Ivana and Donald Trump were high flyers in Manhattan, frequently featured in society and gossip columns as he expanded his real estate empire with her help; she worked as CEO of one of Trump's Atlantic City casinos as well as the Plaza Hotel. He wrote, "She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life," he said. "Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. Upon hearing of the passing of Ivana Trump, Rudy Giuliani, former New York City mayor, and former Trump lawyer, seemed to comment on the scrutiny that the Trumps have faced over the years, tweeting "Ivana Trump was a truly talented, creative and beautiful person. She contributed greatly particularly to New York. Remarkably, with all the massive distractions, she and President Donald J. Trump gave the world exceptionally good, balanced and decent children and grandchildren."
Stephen Miller, who served as a senior White House advisor during Donald Trump's presidency, tweeted "Sending my prayers to President Trump, Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric on the tragic news of Ivana Trump's passing. May God bless the Trump Family." Another former Trump White House official Camryn Kinsey said she was sending prayers to the Trump family at this time. Kayleigh McEnany, former White House press secretary also tweeted her condolences.
Reporters and journalists chimed in as well. Jake Tapper, CNN anchor, tweeted his condolences to Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric saying "May her memory be a blessing." And Piers Morgan posted a picture of himself alongside Ivana and wrote "Very sad to hear Ivana Trump has died.
