Here's How Christina Hall Reportedly Feels About Tarek El Moussa's Big News
Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa have just shared some exciting family news with the public. The real-estate reality television stars are expecting a child in 2023, according to a recent Instagram post from Heather. The photo features Rae in a white silk midi dress that shows off the beginnings of her baby bump. Her husband, Tarek El Moussa, is on one knee and kissing his wife's bump. Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa made their match official by getting married in October 2021.
But the couple isn't new to parenthood. Tarek El Moussa has two children with his ex-wife Christina Hall (formerly Haack), according to ET. "Yes I'm a 'step mom' but in my heart I'm just mom," Heather Rae wrote on her Instagram Story, according to Scary Mommy. "No title, no 'step', no 'bonus.' I don't push them to call me anything but whatever they want to call me."
While reports of an old feud between Christina Hall and El Moussa's new wife circulated this spring and Hall's custody drama with ex Ant Antstead continues, a source told ET exactly what the "Flip or Flop" star thinks about Heather Rae and Tarek El Moussa's news.
Christina Hall opens up about Tarek El Moussa's pregnancy announcement
Christina Hall is reportedly supportive of her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather amid their recent pregnancy news, a source told ET. Hall's reactions seem to confirm other speculations that she has moved on from her fight with Heather Rae, as The List previously reported.
"Christina is happy for Tarek and Heather. As long as Tarek and her are peacefully coparenting, she is content," the source told ET. While other aspects of Hall's personal life seem to carry drama, it appears that the "Flip or Flop" star can only offer congrats to her ex-husband and his wife.
Hall, who shares two kids with El Moussa, appears to be thriving in her own marriage with Joshua Hall, proving it's stronger than ever. She also has a child with Ant Anstead and recently posted a photo on Instagram of her husband and three kids.
Meanwhile, more custody drama for Christina Hall and ex Ant Anstead
Christina Hall has other personal news to deal with, however. Her ex-husband Ant Anstead has waged a custody war against her for their two-year-old son, as The List previously reported. Anstead and Hall have traded digs at one another over the ongoing custody battle, with things turning ugly in some instances.
Hall's husband, Joshua, took to Instagram in April to defend his wife and share what it's been like helping raise three children. "Never did I think taking on 3 kids from 2 other males would be easy. What I was sure of, the woman connected to them was worth it all," he wrote. "I am not these kids' biological father, they have those. What I will be is the best example of a quality human being, always show them how to treat their mother with respect and support them in any way I can during their development."
The more the merrier for the El Moussas
For Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa, their pregnancy news comes after a long IVF journey in order to have a baby, according to ET. "It's definitely been rough," Heather told the outlet in January 2022. "These last two-and-a-half weeks, poking myself every single day with needles, three times a day, the hormones, the emotions . . . At first we found out I only had two eggs. Which going through this whole process and only finding out I had two eggs, I was sad. I did cry a little bit and, you know, going into the extraction — we went to the extraction on Tuesday. I came out and I had seven eggs, so that was really exciting for us because we thought we only were gonna get two."
Heather apparently didn't plan on having kids originally, she told Lauren Zima of ET. "Originally when we first met, it was like I said, 'No I don't want any kids.'" But things changed when Heather Rae recognized how much she enjoyed parenting Tarek's two kids with Christina Hall, she said. "To be honest, it was my love for Taylor and Brayden and honestly seeing Tarek as a daddy . . . And then I started thinking, 'How could I not have one of my own and with the man that I love?'"
Now, the couple's hopes have come to fruition with a baby on the way.
