The Wet N Wild X Care Bears Makeup Collection Is A Nostalgic Dream Come True

If you're a 1980s or 1990s baby, the mention of Care Bears likely brings back a flood of memories from your childhood. But their latest promotion may be the best one yet for us 1980s and 1990s kids – they have combined with Wet n' Wild to create the makeup collaboration of our pre-teen dreams.

As noted by Mental Floss, Care Bears were first introduced at the 1983 Toy Fair in New York City. Their popularity became immediately evident as they sold out soon after being released to the public, but their demand didn't stop in the 1980s. By 2007, 110 million Care Bears had been sold, and in 2022, they continue to bring out our inner child.

Similarly, Wet n Wild, a hit makeup brand, was also released a few decades ago — 1979 to be exact.
