Why Olivia Path Accused Ethan Of Having A 'Double Life'
If you're a fan of TLC's hit reality show, "Welcome to Plathville," you might have a hard time keeping up with all of the drama going down on the show's fourth season.
The network's press release for the season made sure fans were aware that they were in for a roller coaster. The release gave fans some ideas of what was to come in the explosive season, stating that family patriarch Kim Plath "is questioning their lifestyle and her choices overall and some unexpected alliances and friendships occur as a result." It also teases the family branching out a bit, saying, "As the Plaths explore new cities, navigate their love lives, change and grow in ways none of them ever expected, what's certain is the recent past never seemed so far behind."
While all of the Plath family have their fair share of relationship drama this season, things are getting especially heated between the family's eldest son, Ethan, and his wife, Olivia. The couple has been moving in different directions and the two have even stepped back from their relationship, temporarily separating (per Screen Rant). Now, Olivia has made some shocking allegations against her husband.
Olivia has made some interesting accusations following strain her relationship
In a new teaser for an upcoming episode of "Welcome to Plathville," tensions were high between Ethan and Olivia Plath as they were traveling together to visit family. In a clip posted to TLC's Twitter account, we see the couple get into a heated argument where Olivia accuses Ethan of living a double life.
The argument went down like this. Ethan failed to tell his wife that he had purchased a second car while they were separated. He believed that had he told his wife about this second car while they were still taking a break, they would be headed for divorce.
While the couple is driving back to their hometown in Georgia, they get into it when she asks if she can join Ethan and his brother on an outing. When he says no, Olivia shares in the episode's confessional, "I would be lying if I didn't have thoughts sometimes in my head like 'Where is he and what his he doing' because he obviously chooses to not communicate with me. He doesn't answer calls or texts or check in on me, so like I don't know what he's doing. He has this little double-life."
The couple has been struggling for a while, with Ethan blaming the show for part of his marriage woes (via People). However, they are still together and attempting to work through their problems.
