Who Is Young And The Restless Star Jordi Vilasuso Married To In Real Life?

Throughout his time on the show, Rey's love life was a complicated mess. However, things are a lot smoother in Vilasuso's personal life. Unlike Rey's dark and depressing marriage to Sharon, Vilasuso has been happily married for the last 10 years.

In 2012, Jordi Vilasuso married fellow actor Kaitlin Riley, and the couple has been together ever since. Born in South Florida, Kaitlin has her fair share of acting credits, having small roles in the "American Idol" movie "From Justin to Kelly" and the Oscar-winning "Monster."

Per Soap Central, following Rey's on-screen death, the couple launched a new podcast, "Making It Work. According to the description, the podcast will feature the couple getting "candid about lessons they've learned in their own relationship" while also exploring "new ways of making it work."

On the podcast, Jordi and Kaitlin will also address his "The Young and the Restless" departure, per Michael Fairman TV. Regarding her husband's character abruptly being killed off, Kaitlin said, "It was what it was. But it's really nice that people are saying, 'Rey deserved better than that! Sweet Rey.'" 

While Rey's death is an important topic of discussion, their podcast also touches on the real-life heartbreak of Kaitlin's miscarriage.

It appears that the podcast has been a vehicle for Jordi and Kaitlin to process their lives together, and it seems like a great way for the actor to spend his time after leaving "The Young and the Restless."
