Why Princess Eugenie And Her Husband Aren't Living In The U.K. Full Time Anymore

Princess Eugenie has stayed out of the spotlight more than her royal cousins have. While Eugenie and Prince Harry have a close relationship and she has always supported him and Meghan Markle even after they left the United Kingdom, she isn't the center of nearly as many royal headlines (via Vanity Fair).

In fact, unless you are a true royal family news junkie following their every move, you may have missed that Princess Eugenie has moved into the former home of her close cousin, Harry (via Hello! Magazine). She and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, moved into Frogmore Cottage in 2020. The large, five-bedroom estate was where Prince Harry and Meghan lived while a part of the royal family, but after the pair left for sunny California, Eugenie and Jack took it over.

However, Princess Eugenie and her husband, much like Harry and Meghan, are no longer living in the UK full-time.

Princess Eugenie is splitting her time between two countries

Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have been staying in the beautiful Frogmore Cottage since the 2020 exit of its former residents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Now, the couple is moving out as the former royals are returning to their old stomping grounds for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. It seems that the Sussexes plan to visit the UK more, as they have renewed their lease on the property (via the Daily Mail).

Though Eugenie and her husband vacated the home to make way for her cousin and his wife, the couple were already splitting their time in different countries. According to The Telegraph, Eugenie and Jack have been sharing time between Frogmore Cottage and Portugal, as the princess' husband has accepted a job with a property tycoon in the country.

While Frogmore Cottage will be back in the hands of Harry and Meghan, Eugenie and Jack still plan on living in the United Kingdom part-time. They are currently looking for a new place to call home in the meantime.
