The Bold And The Beautiful's Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Shares Dramatic Gender Reveal
On "The Bold and the Beautiful," longtime heroine Steffy Forrester just reunited with her two children, daughter Kelly and son Hayes, after being shot and spending time recovering in the hospital (via Soaps.com). Actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who has been playing Steffy since 2008 (via IMDb), doesn't lead quite as dramatic a life, but she is a mom who adores her two kids and has a third on the way any day now. Wood took to Instagram to announce she reached 40 weeks with her third pregnancy on May 17.
Wearing a sheer, sequined, skin-tight purple gown that highlights her baby bump, Wood wrote, "Just like that, #40 weeks." On May 19, she finally revealed the answer to the question that's been on fans' minds — will her new baby be a boy or a girl? As Wood often does, she created a suspense-filled video that leaves no doubt about whether she will bring home a little bundle of pink or blue.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is ready for her third child
"The Bold and the Beautiful's" Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is ready to give birth to her third baby in about four years with husband Elan Ruspoli. Wood already has two sons; Rise was born in March 2019, and her second son Lenix was born in February 2021 (via People). So, are Rise and Lenix about to get a new baby brother or a new baby sister?
In an Instagram video made outdoors in a field, Wood can be seen walking up to a balloon with a bow and arrow in hand and focused on the task at hand. With Rise at her side, Wood, dressed all in black and showing off her bump, takes aim at the balloon that asks "Girl or Boy." When the arrow hits its mark, blue confetti goes flying through the air to reveal that the actress is about to become mom to three little boys. She can then be seen holding both of her little guys with joy.
When Wood first announced her third pregnancy last November, she told People how thrilled she was to be having another baby. "I am excited to announce that I am pregnant with my third child, due this spring," Wood said. "Elan and I dreamed of having a large family as we are both only children and are over the moon that our dreams are coming true."
