Christina Hall And Ant Anstead Trade Digs At One Another Over Their Ongoing Custody Battle

Since Ant Anstead and Christina Hall started feuding over the custody of their 2-year-old son Hudson, things have definitely turned ugly. In case you missed it, the British TV personality filed for full custody of the child in April (via E! Online). Remember, the star couple divorced in 2020 after a whirlwind marriage. They shared custody of Hudson, but it seems Anstead is looking to change their arrangement, citing that his ex spends less than half the month with the boy, with this trend having persisted for months on end.

For her part, the HGTV star refutes the claim that she is an absentee parent, telling People the allegations that her second husband is the primary parent are "false" and noting that her side of the story will be proven true in court. For now, a hearing is scheduled for June 28, 2022 for a judge to review both of the star parents' claims when it comes to Hudson. Until then, the co-parents have not held back with veiled jabs at one another.

First, Hall took to her Instagram to share a series of cryptic quotes alluding to Anstead being controlling and toxic and spreading false information about her. And that was only the beginning.

Christina Hall promotes effective co-parenting amid custody drama

After the son she shares with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa, was hospitalized following a health scare, Christina Hall seemingly used the incident to promote her positive co-parenting relationship with her ex and his new wife, "Selling Sunset" star Heather Rae.

Although Hall, who married her third husband Joshua after a short engagement, very publicly sparred with the Netflix star the same weekend, the "Christina on the Coast" star went out of her way to tell fans that the kids are the most important thing in a series of posts and on her Instagram Story, including one that chronicled an event at her daughter Taylor's school.

Then, Ant Anstead shared a photo of himself with Hudson taken during a dad's group meeting as if to prove he is spending quality time with his son amid Hall under-the-radar dragging him online. Although many fans showed their support for the reality star in the comments section, some people dragged Anstead for seemingly forcing the message that he is a good dad down the throat of his followers.

And now, things are getting really ugly.

Ant Anstead seemingly calls out Christina Hall on his Instagram

When Ant Anstead took to Instagram to share videos of him and his son playing soccer, the post turned into an attempt to set the record straight about his custody battle with his famous ex. According to Us Weekly, a fan soon commented on the footage of Hudson, "I thought you didn't want your son to be exploited on social media." The fan was referring to Anstead's edict that he didn't want their toddler appearing in paid campaigns online.

That's when the star dad went into defense mode, responding, "Absolutely I don't." The "Celebrity IOU Joyride" host then distinguished between documenting "organic moments" and Hudson being "used for commercial gain," the latter Anstead claimed makes him feel physically ill.

The England native even intimated that Hudson has been forced to "perform" like a "puppet," one would gather by Christina Hall, and also seemed to claim that his posts that include his son are simply meant to chronicle Hudson's toddler years in a "diary" format.

After the Instagram exchange went viral, it was Hall's turn to blast her ex publicly.

Christina Hall responds to Ant Anstead in kind

Soon after Ant Anstead seemingly blasted Christina Hall on his Instagram, the "Flip or Flop" alum took to her own social media to not-so-subtly respond. The mom of three posted a photo of Hudson with big brother Brayden, who thankfully looked to have recovered from his scary medical emergency. Both boys looked very happy in the picture, a point Hall drove home with her caption, which read, "Occasionally Instagram is reality. Brotherly love."

Fan comments, which seem heavily filtered, quickly rallied behind Hall, with one person declaring, "Christina don't let anyone get you down!" Someone else commented, "You are the authentic Instagram. I have so much respect for you!"

We're doubting this will be the end of the ongoing feud between the two parents but in the end, here's hoping Hudson is the focus and he comes away from the situation unscathed.
