Meet The Kate Middleton Lookalike Who Applied For A Part In The Crown
TikTok is a magical place. You can find just about anything you're looking for, and multiple things you weren't expecting, every single time you log on. From dance trends to viral one-pot meals, you just never know what people will be obsessing over next. This time, it might look a bit familiar — literally. A Kate Middleton lookalike popped up on the app, and you will seriously have to do a double take when you see her. Actually, she might actually look more like Middleton than the Duchess of Cambridge does herself. You could just see her pop up on another screen too.
The members of the royal family are some of the most recognizable people in the world. As of April 29, 2011, Middleton became one of them. Since then, people have copied her style and obsessed over her hair. Let's be honest, the woman will be queen someday so there's a lot to be excited about. Being a member of the royal family also comes with another royal role — having someone play you on the hit Netflix show, "The Crown" someday.
If you're wondering who will play Middleton on the show, the answer could be right on TikTok. Once you see this Middleton lookalike, you'll truly believe in doppelgängers.
This Kate Middleton lookalike might be on The Crown
When people started stumbling upon Brittany Dixon's TikTok account, there was one thing that people couldn't take their eyes off — her. Yes, her paintings are absolutely incredible, but people couldn't help but see the resemblance between Dixon and Kate Middleton. So much so that she put together a compilation of her photo and Duchess' side-by-side, and honestly you won't be able to tell the difference.
People were so shocked by the resemblance that they encouraged her to audition for "The Crown." "Please you need to apply!! You're the Kate we need," one comment reads via TikTok. Dixon responded by, well, actually applying for show. On this TiKTok post, she jokes that people were "bullying" her into applying for the show before announcing that she actually did it.
"So I did end up applying," the artist said in a perfectly posh British accent. "All they wanted was a selfie, some general information, and a 30-second video of me talking about something that I love." Dixon talked about her love for art and said that she'll see how it goes.
If the show doesn't cast her as Kate Middleton, then we don't know who they will!
