Ireland Baldwin Reveals How She Really Feels About Dad Alec's Growing Brood
Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are expecting their seventh child together, as People confirmed. The celebrity couple are already parents to daughters María Lucía Victoria and Carmen Gabriela, and sons Rafael Thomas, Leonardo Ángel Charles, Romeo Alejandro David, and Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas. Hilaria has opened up in the past about her devastating losses, having miscarried two babies during previous pregnancies. "One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling," the couple shared, adding, "Our capacity to love continues to expand."
Per People, although the expectant parents already know the gender of their baby, they are holding off on revealing it. As Hilaria explained, in an Instagram Story, after everything they've been through in the not-too-distant past, it feels safer to wait a bit longer. Likewise, the yoga instructor is a staunch supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and, given ongoing debates over trans rights and Florida's devastating "Don't Say Gay" bill — which recently led Raven-Symoné and her entire cast to walk off set — Hilaria wants to learn more about how to be "thoughtful and inclusive on helping to curate a more gender inclusive world."
Aside from their six kids, Alec also shares model daughter Ireland Baldwin with his ex, Kim Basinger. And now, his eldest is weighing in on how she really feels about Alec and Hilaria expanding their family yet again.
Ireland Baldwin doesn't have much to say about the new baby
Ireland Baldwin took to Instagram to share a lengthy statement updating fans on her life as it currently stands. The celebrity kid has relocated to Oregon, where she's happily living alongside boyfriend and musician RAC (born André Allen Anjos), whom The Daily Mail papped strolling around Portland together towards the end of last year, running her own business and, as Ireland put it plainly, minding her own business too.
"I get countless messages from people who are kind of alarmingly obsessed with my father and his family," she acknowledged. "I think a lot of people assume my take on any of this, well here it is for free — it's none of my business." The model offered it up as a response to all those attempting to contact her for one, sharing simply that she doesn't care what her father and his wife are doing since Ireland's life is elsewhere.
Alec Baldwin has had a difficult relationship with his eldest child for years, infamously calling her a "thoughtless little pig" in a leaked voicemail message. As Us Weekly notes, earlier this year, Ireland revisited the infamous moment in a video shared to social media. The talented multihyphenate admitted she'd spent way too long worrying about what the press and public alike thought of her and endeavored to focus more on the work at hand going forward.
Evidently, she seems to be doing exactly that.
