These Actors Played Brady Black On Days Of Our Lives
"Days of Our Lives" viewers can't get enough of Brady Black. The character has held a special place in the hearts of many "DOOL" fans for years, and longtime viewers know the tragic backstory of the character. Brady is the son of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Isabella Toscano (via Soaps in Depth). Sadly, Brady never got the chance to know his mother as she died from pancreatic cancer when he was just a baby. He was raised by his father, John, and John's longtime love Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). The fact that his mother wasn't around for his life has been an issue for Brady over the years.
Brady was born in May 1992, and triplets Alex, Max, and Dash Lucero were the first actors to portray the role, per Soap Central. The trio held the part until 1994 when Eric and Brandon Billings pulled double duty as a slightly older version of Brady. The actor exited the role in 1999 when Brady was aged into young adulthood and fans got to see so much more of his personality.
Kyle Lowder was the first to portray adult Brady Black
In 2000, "Days of Our Lives" rapidly aged the character of Brady Black and hired actor Kyle Lowder for the role. Lowder held the role until 2005. During his time on the NBC soap opera, Lowder's version of Brady dealt with resentment about his father's marriage to Marlena. He was also shot and paralyzed before finding the strength to break out of his wheelchair. He later met and fell in love with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and the two got married (via Soap Central). When Brady later developed a drug addiction, the character was written off the show so that he could attend rehab to get clean and sober, per Nine.
Although Lowder never returned to "Days of Our Lives" in the role of Brady Black, he did eventually head back to Salem as a recast for the role of Rex Brady.

Eric Martsolf first appeared on DOOL in 2008
In 2008, Brady Black returned to Salem with a much different look, per Soaps in Depth. Lowder was long gone and former "Passions" star Eric Martsolf had stepped into the role. Since that time, Martsolf has continued to play Brady on "DOOL," and has been at the center of drama in his love life, his health, and with his addiction. Martsolf's time as Brady has been anything but stale. The character has been in multiple romantic relationships with characters such as Kristen DiMera, Theresa Donovan, and Nicole Walker. He has also welcomed two children, son Tate, whom he shares with Theresa, and daughter Rachel with Kristen. However, his connections with Chloe Lane and Nicole Walker are still as present as ever.
As far as Brady's relationship with Nicole is concerned, there's always a chance for Brady and Nicole to get back together. "Well I never say never anymore. I've been doing soaps long enough to know you never say words like 'always.' You never say words like 'never' because you always end up being wrong. I think there's always a door there," Martsolf previously told TV Source Magazine
