The Bold And The Beautiful Relationship Timeline: Deacon And Brooke
Everything old is new again on "The Bold and the Beautiful" as it celebrates 35 years on the air. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) have been torn apart once again and Brooke is drawn to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) once again, a man she never should have been with in the first place, but also a man who gave her a daughter, the now-grown Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle).
As Brooke contemplates what to do with the rest of her life, Deacon is there in the waiting in case she chooses him. The problem is, Brooke rarely ever chooses Deacon. She just somehow ends up with him. Perhaps a true sweeping love story is just not meant to be when it starts with a salacious and soapy affair between a mother and her son-in-law but that's exactly how the relationship between Brooke and Deacon began. Their attraction was taboo then and is taboo now, but that doesn't mean the pair known as "Breacon" doesn't have its share of fans.
Deacon marries Brooke's daughter and sleeps with Brooke
Although Bridget Forrester (then played by Jennifer Finnegan) was barely out of her teens, she fell madly in love with bad boy Deacon Sharpe. It didn't seem to matter to her that Deacon already had a child with Becky Moore (Marisa Tait) and was involved with Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) when they met. Bridget wanted Deacon and they got married.
What Bridget did not expect was for her mother, Brooke Logan, and her husband to be attracted to one another. They did their best to deny their attraction, but things seemed inevitable when they ended up in bed together. However, when Brooke learned she was pregnant, she was determined to not let Bridget or anyone else know who the father was, so she chose to seduce ex-husband, Eric Forrester (John McCook), and pass the baby off as his. That didn't work and neither did trying to pass the baby off as Whip Jones' (Rick Hearst), according to Soaps.com. Brooke later gave birth to a little girl she named Hope, but by then, Brooke had done everything in her power to end everything with Deacon and he left town.
Deacon returns and wants to know Hope
When Deacon learned he had a daughter, he returned to "The Bold and the Beautiful's" fictional version of Los Angeles and wanted to bond with the baby. By then, Brooke was involved with Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) and it was Nick who convinced Brooke to let Deacon see Hope. They agreed he would not be a big part of her life and Deacon later signed away his rights to his daughter. He then left town again and spent several years in Genoa City as part of "The Young and the Restless" scene.
After Hope magically grew into a young adult by the magic of soap opera aging, she wanted to marry Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), but Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) didn't want Hope to be with his son and brought Deacon back to town to break them up, but he refused. However, his attraction to Brooke was still there.
Deacon rejects Brooke but now wants her back
In 2014, Brooke was depressed because she didn't have a man in her life, so she started drinking again and threw herself at Deacon, wanting him to finally have a real relationship with her. By then, he was in love with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer), so he told Brooke he wasn't interested. Unfortunately, his marriage to Quinn turned into a hate-filled union in which Quinn pushed Deacon off a cliff and he shot at her, but it was Deacon who ended up behind bars.
In 2021, Deacon was finally released from prison and made a beeline for Hope's (Annika Noelle) house. They had been writing to one another for several years and finally wanted to forge a father-daughter bond. Deacon also had to admit to Brooke he never really got over her and was madly in love with her. On New Year's Eve, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) made sure Brooke drank real champagne rather than the non-alcoholic kind, resulting in Brooke kissing Deacon on New Year's Eve. This blew up her latest marriage to Ridge, and Deacon is ready, waiting, and sitting on the sidelines to see what happens next.
