Millie Bobby Brown Takes A Big Relationship Step With Jake Bongiovi
Although Millie Bobby Brown has been acting since she was a child, she has chosen to keep her personal life out of the spotlight.
"I keep most things private in my life. Personally, I struggle with anxiety and in some ways, this has hindered it," she said in an interview with Glamour UK.
"When I'm having a bad day or I'm feeling very anxious, some things like when people say, 'Oh, you looked bad at this award show because you looked like this or you looked like that,' those things make me a little bit more anxious and that hinders me a little bit more."
In the past, Brown has been linked romantically with YouTube star Jacob Sartorius and Romeo Beckham, the son of David and Victoria (per Distractify). But Brown has always remained tight-lipped when it comes to her love life, and her current relationship with Jake Bongiovi is no exception.
The "Stranger Things" star was reportedly introduced to Bongiovi — the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi — by a mutual friend in April 2021, according to Celebrity Nine. The couple made their relationship Instagram official in June 2021 and have been spotted together in New York and London (per People).
Bongiovi was also on hand to help his girlfriend celebrate her 18th birthday in February 2022, with the duo dressing up as Barbie and Ken (per People).
And Brown and Bongiovi took their relationship to the next level at the 2022 BAFTAs.
Millie Bobby Brown made her red carpet debut with boyfriend Jake Bongiovi
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2022 BAFTA awards in London, according to US Weekly. For her first time at the ceremony, Brown chose a custom Louis Vuitton dress. She accessorized the black velvet gown with matching gloves to present the best supporting actor award with Florence Pugh.
Of course, Brown wanted to make sure her boyfriend looked his best as well, with her stylist dressing Bongiovi in a black Fendi tuxedo.
Brown is gearing up for the premiere of Season 4 of "Stranger Things," and, like most fans, she's hoping that her character, Eleven, gets a break from all the drama.
"Oh my god, she's been through so much, I just hope she's happy," Brown told Seventeen. "I always say to [Matt and Ross Duffer], 'Can she just not smile like in one take?' I would love her story to be rounded off by like a good ending. I trust the Duffer brothers so much that it's going to be beautiful and I'm going to love it no matter what it is. But I'd love for her to get her powers back because she is a hero, she is like a super woman in a way."
