The Bold And The Beautiful's Logan Family Tree Explained
The Logan clan has been a core part of "The Bold and the Beautiful" since day one.
Coming from a middle-class family living in the San Fernando Valley, oldest daughter Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was paying her way through college and was close to her two sisters, Donna and Katie. Parents Beth (originally played by Judith Baldwin and last played by Robin Riker) and Stephen Logan (Robert Pine, later Patrick Duffy) had a rough marriage as Stephen threw himself into his work and tried to ignore the fact that his wife had never gotten over her first love, Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Per Soaps She Knows, Beth and Stephen broke up for a time, but years later managed to get back together before Beth was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and ended up drowning in a pool after brutally arguing with Stephanie Forrester. Now, let's take a look at the Logan daughters, and their one son, Storm.
Oldest Logan sister Brooke Logan Forrester
When we first met Brooke Logan, she was working as a server for a catering company by night and studying to be a chemist by day (via Soaps In Depth). That's when she met two men who would change her life forever, Eric Forrester and his son, Ridge (then Ronn Moss, now Thorsten Kaye). Ridge chose Caroline Spencer (Joanna Johnson) over her and Eric comforted her, leading to a pregnancy. Brooke ended up marrying Eric and having two of his children, Rick and Bridget. They are now adults and Rick is the father of Lizzie while Bridget is mother to Logan
Brooke has also been married to Ridge multiple times and have one son together, RJ. Brooke also has another daughter with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), Hope (Annika Noelle), and is now all grown with her own daughter named for her grandmother, Beth. As for Brooke, she is still married to Ridge, but it looks like they might be headed to another divorce soon, as of this writing.
Middle Logan sister Donna Logan
Like her older sister, Donna Logan also fell for Eric Forrester and the two were married for quite a few years, but that relationship is over now (via Soaps In Depth). In the fall of 2021, Donna (Jennifer Graeis) admitted she was still in love with Eric, but he chose to be with his current wife, Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer). However, when Donna first appeared on the soap, she had a thing for Thorne Forrester (then Jeff Trachta). When that relationship failed, Donna left town for years and returned in 2006.
Her goal at the time was to reunite Brooke and Ridge, but Donna fell for Ridge herself. When that didn't work out, she moved on to his brother, Thorne (now played by Winsor Harmon) once again before finally ending up married to Eric. In recent years, Donna has been a recurring character without a romance and mainly spends time with her sisters as she searches for a man who can live up to Eric in her eyes.
Youngest Logan sister Katie Logan
Katie Logan is not the blonde bombshells her sisters are and always felt inferior to them. When the show first premiered, she was a minor character played by Nancy Sloane, notes Soaps In Depth, but in 2007, Heather Tom took over the role and Katie returned to Los Angeles for good and became a major heroine, who has been married to both Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Thorne Forrester (last played by Ingo Rademacher).
It looks like Katie's true love is Bill and they share a young son together, Will, but Katie has found she cannot trust Bill, mainly because he sometimes still has eyes for her oldest sister, Brooke, who was also once married to Bill. Poor Katie is also an alcoholic, driven to drinking when Bill and Brooke had a torrid affair while she suffered from postpartum depression. She has also needed a heart transplant and a kidney transplant.
Logan brother Storm
Stephen and Beth Logan only had one son in their house of girls, Stephen Logan, Jr., aka Storm Logan (via Soaps In Depth). Fans didn't see storm around a lot when Ethan Wayne and Brian Patrick Clarke played him. He didn't even live in "The Bold and the Beautiful's" fictional version of Los Angeles for years, but when William de Vry took over the role in 2006, he became a major character, and definitely not the most stable Logan.
In 2008, Storm fell for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), who was crossing over from "The Young and the Restless," but when she rejected him, he pulled out a gun. Then, he accidentally shot his sister, Katie, rather than Ashley. When Katie's heart was so damaged she needed a transplant immediately, Storm took his own life so that Katie could have his heart. In 2018, fans learned that Strom had a long-lost daughter named Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden).
