Grace Kelly's Granddaughter Is Turning Heads With Her Runway Stunt

At Paris Fashion Week, Charlotte Casiraghi came onto the runway during Chanel's show in a very unique way.

Casiraghi — who is Princess Caroline's daughter, Princess Grace's granddaughter, and Prince Albert's niece, making her 11th in line for the throne in Monaco — became an ambassador and spokesperson for Chanel at the start of last year, and she says she feels "as though she was almost born with Chanel." She remembers photos of her mother wearing Chanel while pregnant, and she wore one of the brand's Haute Couture designs while tying the knot with Dimitri Rassam in 2019. She also feels it is her responsibility to share Chanel's message of female empowerment.

Well, the way this 35-year-old model, editor, producer, humanitarian, and entrepreneur started off the show in Paris, which took place on Tuesday, January 25, certainly turned heads, and it definitely showed off these designs in a one-of-a-kind way.

The way Charlotte Casiraghi came onto the runway gave a special nod to Chanel's history

During Paris Fashion Week, Charlotte Casiraghi modeled for Chanel, wearing a black tweed jacket, pants, and riding boots. Oh, and she came onto the runway on a horse.

This royal is a veteran equestrian, and, according to People, artist Xavier Veilhan created a course, where the horse could gallop around in front of guests. This showed how versatile and beautiful the clothes were, while a corresponding video detailed how some of Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel's first clients were those who loved horse racing.

"A first glimpse at the Chanel Spring-Summer 2022 Haute Couture collection by Virginie Viard." As stated by People, Viard became Chanel's creative director last year, following the death of Karl Lagerfeld in 2019.
