Moriah Plath Seems To Confirm What Fans Suspected All Along About Her Relationship

Ever since she left the family home alongside brother Micah, Moriah Plath has been busy embracing life as a normal teenager. From dying her hair different colors to wearing whatever she wants, Plath is actively proving she's no longer taking her freedom for granted. One of the biggest developments in the "Welcome to Plathville" star's life was undoubtedly her sweet relationship with boyfriend Max Kallschmidt. However, in recent months, fans have been speculating about whether all is well between the fledgling couple.

As Screen Rant points out, Kallschmidt spent Christmas away from his girlfriend, who celebrated the festive season with her family. Although this isn't necessarily unheard of, particularly with younger, unmarried couples, fans were concerned it was a sign the relationship had soured. Kallschmidt is Plath's first ever boyfriend but he hasn't always been popular with viewers, who criticized the Florida native for being controlling. In fact, Kallschmidt previously called things off over worries about Plath's emotional maturity.

Now, though, the "Welcome to Plathville" star appears to have confirmed once and for all where the couple stands.

Does Moriah Plath's new song confirm her breakup?

As Us Weekly points out, Moriah Plath appears to have confirmed she and Max Kallschmidt are over for good with the release of her debut single. Entitled "Missed Myself," lyrics including, "Like heavy chains pulling me / I let you get the best of me / But that won't mean / You can control who I'll be" appear to be self-explanatory. Elsewhere, the "Welcome to Plathville" star details how she was hiding in her room, desperately trying to get the song's subject out of her mind. Likewise, Plath goes on to share she's seeing a new therapist and focusing on "moving on with my life" as well as "killing it." Moreover, the seemingly heartbroken teen notes, "I just wanted you to know that I'm not sorry / Maybe it's just my pride / If it is, forgive me / I missed myself lately."

Although Plath hasn't confirmed whom she's singing about, the reality star previously hinted, in a December 2021 Instagram post, it's a "super personal" song. She also emphasized how important it is not to change for somebody else, because true love is about accepting someone as they are. Complicating matters, however, her rumored ex shared the song on his Instagram Story, encouraging followers to "go check it out" and congratulating Plath in the process. It's been a few months since the couple shared photos together on social media, which initially sparked rumors they'd split after dating for a year.
