Why Fans Think There's No Chemistry Between Brooke And Ridge
Soap opera fans are no strangers to voicing their opinions when it comes to the characters on their favorite shows. Fans of "The Bold and the Beautiful" are especially opinionated because they are so passionate about their favorite soap! According to Cheat Sheet, fans of the show are not exactly happy with the way the new episodes are panning out.
"The Bold and the Beautiful" has been on the air since the 1980s, and some fans have found that the show's newest seasons don't compare to the older ones. They are getting tired of the same storylines and the lack of excitement brought to each episode.
Aside from the storylines, fans are not exactly thrilled with the couples writers have paired up (per TV Over Mind). There are some couples fans can't get enough of, while there are others that miss the mark when it comes to chemistry. Lately, a staple couple on the show is getting criticism from fans for that very reason.
Fans find the couple boring
Brooke Logan (played by actress Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) have had a lot of support from fans over the years on "The Bold and the Beautiful." The pair have had several issues throughout their decade-long relationship. From drama with Ridge's mother to relationship ups and downs, fans have been along for a wild ride when it comes to these two's romance.
Now, however, it seems fans feel no chemistry between the two (per Cheat Sheet). When the official account of the soap opera tweeted, "We [heart emoji] happy #Bridge scenes! #BoldandBeautiful," fans weighed in. One fan tweeted, "They stink. Zero chemistry. They are tied with Liam [and] Hope for the most boring couple on screen," wrote one user, not holding back whatsoever. Another fan said, "One of the most boring couples. No chemistry"
The majority of the tweets in response were sharing the sentiment that Brooke and Ridge have no chemistry and are overall boring. Some fans suggested pairing the characters with a different partner, while some shared they were simply over the storyline entirely.
