The Subtle Sign Kim Kardashian And Miley Cyrus Might Be On Bad Terms
Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson teamed up on New Year's Eve for a big television special titled "Miley's New Year's Eve Party." The event featured Cyrus and some of other musical acts taking the stage to perform, while Davidson worked the crowd, told jokes, and gave the performers time to prepare for their live performances (via Variety). At midnight, the duo and the rest of the guests hit the stage together and rang in 2022. However, the pair's friendship goes back further than NYE.
Cyrus and Davidson have actually been friends for years, and really bonded when the former "Hannah Montana" star appeared on "Saturday Night Live" in 2017. During the episode, she and Davidson starred in a skit together titled "The Baby Step," where they were dressed as babies (via People Magazine). The two later explained to Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" that their excuse during the sketch was "we babies," a phrase they later both got inked. However, their matching tattoos are no longer as Davidson admitted he's been removing many of his tattoos, including the one he shared with Cyrus.
While Davidson and Cyrus may share an interesting friendship, the "SNL" star's new girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, may not approve of their relationship.
Is there bad blood between Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus?
According to Page Six, Pete Davidson's girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, may not be happy about his close friendship with Miley Cyrus. The outlet reports that recently there have been subtle hints that Kardashian and Cyrus are not on good terms. Although Kardashian was confirmed to have followed Cyrus on Instagram as recently as Dec. 10, 2021, the KKW Beauty founder is reportedly no longer following the singer on social media. This comes just days after Cyrus and Davidson hosted a New Year's Eve TV special together. While fans don't know what happened before or after the special, Cyrus did seem to suggest she wanted to date Davidson during the pair's appearance on "The Tonight Show" in December.
While the duo promoted their NYE event, Cyrus sang "It should have been me," to Davidson, seemingly teasing the comedian and hinting that he should have dated her and not Kardashian. Davidson and Kardashian didn't ring in the New Year together as the reality star was back home in California with her four children while Davidson hosted in NYC. However, the couple reunited days later to take a private jet to the Bahamas for a romantic getaway together.
Fans will now be watching to figure out if there's currently any bad blood between Cyrus and Kardashian following their alleged Instagram drama.
