Prince William Reveals His Idea Of The Perfect Christmas
Prince William appears to love Christmas just as much as the rest of us. In fact, the Duke of Cambridge recently sat down for a radio interview and shared some of his Christmastime favorites (via People). During the appearance, William admitted that he loves to watch the Will Ferrell comedy "Elf" and that his favorite holiday song is "Feliz Navidad."
However, when he was asked what his ideal Christmas gift would be, the royal was a bit stumped, Hello! Magazine reported. "That's a brilliant question, but I've not had much time to think about it because I've been thinking about my children and what they want for Christmas," he stated. Although, William eventually decided on what he would love to have this holiday season. "If I had to choose right now, then I would say I want my favorite team which is Aston Villa to win their football match on Boxing Day," he said.
Of course, William reveals that the real magic of Christmas is getting to spend time with his family. "For me, generally, bringing the family together at Christmastime is always lovely because we're quite spread out doing our things a lot of time throughout the year. When I see my children meet up with my cousin's children, and they all have a wonderful time playing together, it's very special. I look forward to that a lot," he disclosed.
Later on in the discussion, William went on to reveal how he would celebrate Christmas in an ideal world.
Prince William revealed what his perfect Christmas would look like
According to The Express, Prince William took questions from patients of the Royal Marsden Foundation Trust during his radio interview. The Royal Marsden is reportedly the world's first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research, and education, and William is the President of the trust, a position that was previously held by his late mother, Princess Diana.
During the sit-down, a 12-year-old patient named Sonya was eager to find out how the Duke of Cambridge would celebrate the holiday season if he could do anything he wanted. "Well Sonya, you've pretty much stumped me, that is a very good question and one I'm not quite sure how to answer," William admitted. However, he eventually came up with the perfect answer. "I think I'd have to make sure everyone could enjoy it," he explained. "So, we'd have to bring everyone together and have a big party and there would be no Covid and there would certainly be no cancer in the world if I was in charge of Christmas for the day," the Duke added.
It sounds like Prince William's ideal Christmas celebration would be one amazing event, as many others around the globe likely have a similar wish this holiday season.
