However, it Rinna's roles on the primetime drama ,"Melrose Place," where she played the gorgeous Taylor McBride, and on NBC soap opera, "Days of Our Lives," that her longtime fans will also associate her with. Lisa Rinna debuted on Days of Our Lives in 1992
According to Soap Central, Lisa Rinna debuted as the character of Billie Reed on "Days of Our Lives" on September 21, 1992. Billie was the daughter of Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and set her sights on fan-favorite character Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) upon moving to the fictional town of Salem. It was Bo who helped save Billie from addiction issues, and despite Bo's long-standing romance with the love of his life, Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso), the two carried out a relationship. Bo and Billie eventually tied the knot, but divorced when Bo and Hope reconciled. The two were on and off for years before Bo and Hope remarried for good, although they later discovered that the daughter they thought died at birth, Chelsea, was alive. Although Billie has come and gone from Salem multiple times, Rinna recently reprised the role in the Peacock series "Beyond Salem."
During a chat with NBC's TODAY, Rinna admitted that she has a lot of love for Billie and that the character is very special to her, even after all of these years. "I hold a special place in my heart for Billie Reed, and I love her probably — I'm closer to her than any character I've ever played, and it's always fun to go back and revisit her," she said.
Of course, "Days of Our Lives" fans always love when Rinna/Billie visits Salem, and hope to see more of her on the soap in the future.
