Selling Tampa Season 1: Release Date, Cast, And New Details

The question is — who didn't spend all of Thanksgiving weekend binge watching "Selling Sunset"s latest season? Ever since it first launched on Netflix, the Los Angeles based real estate show has had a hold on everyone. From the insanely lavish homes to the always juicy office drama, the show is addictive. On to its fourth season now, and with a teaser trailer for Season 5 at the end of the season finale, fans just can't get enough and the "Selling Sunset" franchise keeps giving them what they want (via Netflix).

While one of the stars of the show, Mary Fitzgerald, has shared that, "We have season 5 coming out in March probably," Netflix has decided to sweeten the deal and give fans more of their favorite reality show much sooner (via Digital Spy). Why spend your time rewatching old seasons until next March, when you could watch an entirely new spin-off of the show?

When will Selling Tampa air?

On November 22, 2021 a brand new Instagram account @Sellingtampanetflix shared a first look at the brand new spin-off show of the popular "Selling Sunset" that would be set in Florida (via Instagram). Fans immediately had their hunger for more of the franchise satiated with a spin-off they never knew they needed. The "Selling Tampa" announcement immediately came with a release date. As the poster posted implies, the show will air on Netflix on December 15, 2021. Less than a month after Season 4 of "Selling Sunset!"

The construction dust has barely settled, and fans are already about to embark on an entirely new whirlwind of drama set to a brand new backdrop. Netflix also announced the new show on Twitter with a promotional video that showed the original "Selling Sunset" cast that fans know and love passing the (literal and metaphorical) key over to a brand new cast of beautiful Black women. While it's sure to have a similar concept, what will the new season be all about?

Who will be the cast of the new spin-off?

"Selling Tampa" looks completely different to "Selling Sunset." While some previously speculated that it would feature some of the classic real estate agents that fans know, the spin-off offers an entirely new cast along with the new location. The poster for the show features an all-female cast of powerful Black women (fans even peeped that one of the cast members is pregnant!). From the looks of it, the ladies mean business. But who are the ladies?

The show departs from The Oppenheim Group and is focused on Tampa real estate agency Allure Realty (via Hello Magazine). The agency is led by military veteran owner Sharelle Rosado. The cast consists of Rosado's team: Alexis Williams, Anne-Sophie Petit, Colony Reeves, Juawana Williams, Karla Giorgio, Rena Frazier and Tennille Moore (via Global Grind). The stunning ladies are all active on social media, often sharing girl boss photos of themselves that could imply fans are in for a season filled with big personalities.

Will Selling Tampa serve the same level of drama?

"These ladies are equally as fun as they are fiercely ambitious, with all of them vying to be on top of the lavish world of luxury waterfront real estate. Sharelle has big plans for her brokerage and won't let anyone or anything get in the way of making her dreams a reality." Netflix's description puts it simply, but the newly released official trailer of the show proves there's a lot more in store.

On November 30, 2021 Netflix shared the official trailer of "Selling Tampa" and it showcased the stunning beauty of the new ladies, along with the clashing and drama that people really love the franchise for (via YouTube). The trailer featured new but equally lavish Florida properties, but what really stood out was the clear tension at the agency. It seems that the drama in store for this show may actually revolve around Sharelle Rosado's employees doubting her leadership and choosing to stray, sprinkled of course with a healthy dose of big personalities clashing at dinner parties. What more could we ask for?
