Carmeon Hamilton Reveals Her 2021 Home Wish List
Carmeon Hamilton's 2021 home wish list is all about updating well-loved, well-used pieces. Prior to her husband's death, Hamilton was focused on a whole-house refresh, and her wish list is now focused on those final pieces she needs to finish — like new cookware, and a new washer and dryer set. There is nothing too big or too small for her wishlist this year.
One major (but small) appliance Hamilton is hoping to replace is her 10 year old Keurig. To find the perfect replacement for her old coffee maker, Hamilton asked her Instagram followers for suggestions. The result? Hamilton added the Breville Bambino Plus Espresso Machine to her list. Not only is the machine small, but "they bring an experience like none other" making it, for Hamilton, worth the price for something she uses daily.
Another thing used daily? A front door, which is exactly what was on Hamilton's wishlist. The "Design Star: Next Gen" winner said that she'd "love to replace [her] front door with one that allows more natural light in."
Accent decor dominates Cameron Hamilton's 2021 home wish list
The smaller pieces Carmeon Hamilton is looking for? You're definitely going to want to add them to your own wish list. "I'm itching to get a mirror back over our kitchen sink," Hamilton explains in her blog post, which is why a brass rectangular mirror from Target tops the list. The brass frame of the mirror accents the matte black of the French door refrigerator that is also on her list perfectly. It's the final piece that will bring her freshly redecorated kitchen together.
While her bedroom isn't currently on the refresh list, Hamilton still wanted to do a little updating. Specifically, she wanted to change out the rug under her bed. Hamilton shared that her "rule for rugs in bedrooms is that the rug should extend past the width of the nightstands." Her current rug is "about a foot too short." To replace the rug, she's loving options from Lulu and Georgia; either the Khloe Rug or the Esha Rug. Small changes can make the biggest differences, especially in the spaces where you're spending the majority of your time.
