The Kardashian-Jenners are no stranger to being in the spotlight — especially when it comes to their love lives. Unless you've been living under a rock, you know good and well that the world has all eyes on the blossoming romance between "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian, who were recently spotted together in New York City and Staten Island on multiple occasions. "They were smiling and laughing a lot and seemed genuinely affectionate with each other," a source spilled to Page Six, adding, "But there was no Kravis-style PDA."

The news of a possible romance between Kim and Davidson comes less than a year after she filed for divorce from her husband of nearly seven years, Kanye West. "It's gotten to the point where they haven't spent time together as a married couple in months," a source told E! News in February. "They've seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She's known for a while."

Inside the reconciliation rumors between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian

Although Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West, whose legal name is now Ye in February, rumors of a possible reconciliation started making the rounds on more than one occasion (via BBC). In August, Kardashian supported Ye during his "Donda" listening party at Soldier Field in Chicago — not only watching from the crowd, but joining in on his performance as well (via TMZ). The SKIMs founder donned a Balenciaga Couture wedding dress during the final song of the night, "No Child Left Behind," which sent fans into a complete tailspin.

In early October, reconciliation rumors swirled yet again after Ye and Kardashian were spotted leaving Nobu Malibu together (via Page Six). However, the same day, a source told Us Weekly that the former lovers simply have a working relationship, as well as a co-parenting relationship. "They have a more of a friendship and working relationship as they co-parent. They're not back together," an insider told the outlet, adding that despite their impending divorce, the reality star "will be involved with Kanye's work ventures and he will be involved with hers."

A separate source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that even though the former couple have been spending time together, their romantic relationship is over. "Kanye and Kim are moving forward with the divorce, even though recent signs have pointed to a reconciliation. Kim and Kanye are in a very good place, but they aren't getting back together," the source explained.

Kanye West on his divorce from Kim Kardashian

During an appearance on the "Drink Champs" podcast that was uploaded on November 4, Ye opened up about his and Kim Kardashian's relationship, including her dig at him during her "Saturday Night Live" monologue on October 7. "'SNL' making my wife say 'I divorced him' on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off, and I ain't never even seen the papers," he told hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN (via Yahoo! Entertainment). "We're not even divorced. That ain't no joke to me. My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together."

Fans had mixed reactions to Ye's comments about his impending divorce from Kardashian, with one Twitter user writing, "Kim is out here on dates and what not but go on... Lol," while another added, "Let's hope for Kim the papers coming through asap" (via Twitter).

On the opposite side of the spectrum, some fans couldn't help but appreciate Ye's "best interview ever," calling him a "genius" and an "icon" for speaking his truth. "I love this dude," one fan wrote on YouTube. "So glad he was able to communicate what's his perspective and not be made to look weird."
