90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 4 - Here's What We Can Tell Fans So Far
TLC's "90 Day Fiancé" is a powerhouse franchise. According to Screen Rant, the series is by far the network's most successful reality show. It's so popular, in fact, that it has spawned several spin-offs.
There are now a whopping 18 spin-offs in the "90 Day Fiancé" universe, including "Happily Ever After," which follows now-married couples as they live their lives outside of the confines of the 90 days they had to get married, and "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way," which follows American citizens who made the decision to move to whichever country their partner lives in (via TV Insider).
Fans are crazy about all of the "90 Day" series that are constantly being put out by TLC, but "The Other Way" is especially popular (via Screen Rant). While many Western viewers can't relate to someone from another country coming to the United States, they do find it fascinating to watch Americans move to other parts of the world to be with the person that they love. With the great success of the currently airing third season of "The Other Way," will TLC release another season soon?
When will Season 4 air?
TLC has so many "90 Day Fiancé" spin-offs that something from the franchise is airing on the network year-round. The network airs the various series in a rotating order. Typically, it goes, "90 Day Fiancé," "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After," "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days," and finally, "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way," (via Screen Rant).
However, now that the network has expanded the series with "90 Day Fiancé: The Single Life," the order in which the shows air has been changed a little bit. Currently, TLC has seasons of "90 Day Fiancé," "Before the 90 Days," and "The Single Life" ready to air within the next few months (via People).
With that in mind, and the fact that the third season of "The Other Way" is currently airing, it's likely we won't get another season of the series until 2022. According to Premiere Date, a fourth season of the series has yet to be picked up by TLC, but considering the show's huge success, it's highly likely that Season 4 will be coming down the pipeline soon.
Who will be returning to the cast?
When it comes to the cast of the "90 Day Fiancé" shows, it depends on what happens during the prior season. For the third season of "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way," there were mostly returning couples, while two new pairs joined the cast as well (via Independent). Typically, cast members who don't tie the knot before the end of the previous season will return to the series until they do, and from there will either bid farewell to the franchise or move to another spin-off.
Currently, it seems as though Kenny and Armando are the most likely couple to make the move from "The Other Way" to a spin-off like "Happily Ever After." The show's first gay couple officially tied the knot in May and are the true definition of happily ever after, so there's a chance they could be absent from "The Other Way" but still involved with the show (via InTouch).
The 's future of other couples on the show — like Jenny and Sumit, Ellie and Victor, Ariela and Biniyam, and Steven and Alina — will depend on where they leave off as couples as the third season comes to a close.
Will Ariela and Biniyam return for Season 4?
Ariela and Biniyam starred on Seasons 2 and 3 of "90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way," and fans have had mixed feelings about the couple. It seems that they're the pair with the most drama, and since drama pays the bills at TLC, the chance of them returning for the fourth season is high.
Recently, Biniyam shocked fans by stating that he did not know where Ariela was. He's fairly popular over on TikTok and recently made a startling comment to a fan. "Where is Ari?" asked a fan in his TikTok comment section, to which Biniyam responded, "I don't know" (via Screen Rant).
Of course, fans were concerned, but being that Season 3 left off with Ariela's return to Africa up in the air, many people took this response to mean she did not in fact return to the country. However, Ariela said she would return to Africa if Biniyam moved to Kenya to be with her (via Techno Trenz). If this is the case, the chance of them returning to "The Other Way" next season is highly likely! We can't wait to see what other new details Season 4 has in store.
