The Most Expensive Outfits Worn By The Kardashian Kids
"This is one of the happiest days of my life!" For Kris Jenner, that was the day when her daughter Kylie Jenner and ninth grandchild Stormi surprised her with the news that she was going to be a grandmother for the 11th time (via Instagram).
Kris, whose grandkids call her "Lovey," is grandma to Mason, Penelope, and Reign (from daughter Kourtney Kardashian and ex Scott Disick); North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm (from daughter Kim Kardashian West and ex Kanye West); True (from daughter Khloé Kardashian and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson); Dream (from son Rob Kardashian and his ex Blac Chyna); and Stormi (from daughter Kylie and her boyfriend Travis Scott).
As with all things Kardashian, Kris Jenner's grandkids are living their best lives and doing it in designer style, as frequently shared by their famous parents on social media. Here are some of the most expensive outfits worn by the Kardashian kids.
Kylie Jenner and daughter Stormi matched in Christmas couture
From photo booths with Drake to elaborate holiday card photo shoots and 20-foot-tall trees, the Kardashians take a more-is-more approach to celebrating Christmas. For the holidays in 2019, Kylie Jenner outfitted herself and daughter Stormi in custom couture Ralph & Russo gowns and shared the festive photos on Instagram. She captioned her post, in part, "Most wonderful time of the year."
On the Ralph & Russo website, non-couture gowns range from around $5,000 to $10,000. The dresses, in matching emerald green, each had a hand-stitched name tag sewn inside, and Stormi's came with her own pair of adorable kiddie socks. Kylie accessorized hers with a glam emerald and diamond necklace, along with green nails and cascading hair. While Kylie sported strappy matching green heels, Stormi went the comfortable route — in adorable white sneakers and her hair up in a little bun.
Baby North West wore Givenchy to Paris Fashion Week with mom Kim
Sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week is a major deal, but for North West, it was just another day out with Mom and Dad. In 2014, Kim Kardashian West shared a family photo on Instagram of herself, Kanye West, and North enjoying Givenchy's runway show. Kim's caption captured the chic moment: "Reserved for Mademoiselle North West."
Both Kim and North wore lace outfits by Givenchy for their front-row appearance. Kim's featured patterns of black lace combined with sheer lace from head to toe. She also wore a black jacket slung over her shoulders, no jewelry, and her hair in a bun. North's dress also had the black and sheer lace combo. While the price of their Givenchy pieces isn't known, on the brand's website, an adult's evening dress in Chantilly lace will cost you $6,420. Simpler Givenchy kids' dresses run between $200 and $300.
North and Kim Kardashian West matched in Vetements for Kanye West's concert tour
For a September 2016 stop on Kanye West's Saint Pablo concert tour in New York City, Kim Kardashian West brought the drama, right along with their daughter North. Both were dressed in silvery, sparkly Vetements dresses. On Instagram, the mom of four captioned their photo, "Me & my mini me!" Kim's shiny disco ball-esque dress, according to Elle, cost a cool $11,161. Though we don't know the cost of North's dress, we have not doubt it's one of the most expensive outfits worn by the Kardashian kids. While Kim wore see-through heels (possibly by Kanye's Yeezy brand), North went the comfy route, donning black-and-white sneakers. Kim's hair was slicked back, while North's bouncy curls were on full display.
As North's gotten older, her style has evolved from the days of matching with her mom. In 2021, Kim told Ellen DeGeneres that her firstborn's taken a turn for the decidedly non-sparkly. "North is, like, goth. She's into Hot Topic," she said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." "She puts fake tattoos on her face, and she listens to Black Sabbath, and she's just like a full goth girl."
Kourtney Kardashian and her kids cuddled up in matching Beverly Hills Hotel pajamas
Around Thanksgiving in 2018, comfort was in order for Kourtney Kardashian and her family, as she shared in an Instagram post. Kourtney and her kids, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, wore matching pajamas for a poolside photo. (Ex Scott Disick was the sole non-matcher.) Kourtney's PJs were from the Beverly Hills Hotel and featured the iconic locale's equally iconic Martinique banana leaf print (via WWD). While no longer available on the hotel's website, a silk pink-stripe pair costs $375. The kids' similar sets also featured a take on the banana leaf print. A kid-sized pink-striped pair from the Beverly Hills Hotel is $260.
That holiday season, all cuddled up in classic SoCal style, Kourtney was keeping her focus on family, as she shared in her Instagram post. "I woke up this morning in bed with my children, in the same house as my sisters (minus @khloekardashian i miss you), my brothers, the father of my kids, my mommy, my grandma, my nieces and nephew," she wrote in a caption. "I feel beyond grateful. Happy Thanksgiving!"
Scott Disick played paparazzo when his daughter Penelope rocked a Gucci coat
He may have a reputation for enjoying the finer things in life, but Scott Disick has a real soft spot for his kids with his ex, Kourtney Kardashian. Disick kept that vibe going in 2020 with an Instagram post that featured his daughter, Penelope, out on the town in a $1,280 Gucci coat, as noted by Hollywood Life. In the photo, Penelope is shooing away the camera while rocking a pair of sunglasses at night. Disick jokingly captioned the photo, "Please no pictures."
Penelope isn't always being photographed, though, especially not by her mom at home. "I always try my absolute best when I'm with my kids not to be on my phone, to be present in what we're doing, and have those moments where you're looking in each other's eyes and connecting," Kourtney told Vogue Arabia in 2020. "It's so important. ... I usually take one day on the weekend where we have no plans, [and] we hang out at the house in pajamas or sweats. We sleep in. I like to not be on a schedule on that day."
Khloé Kardashian and her daughter, True, looked glam in Dior separates
Sporting designer duds for a sidewalk photoshoot is just a regular old Sunday for Khloé Kardashian and her daughter, True. In a May 2021 Instagram post, Khloé shared some shots of the two of them donning adult- and kid-sized Dior separates — Khloé in the brand's monogrammed pants and True in a cropped top and matching skirt. The Good American founder paid homage to their elevated glam with the cheeky caption, "Dior Darling (Mariah Carey voice)."
Tops and skirts for kids are in the $300 to $400 range on the brand's website, while pants similar to Khloé's are around $2,000 to $3,000. Both Khloe and True wore sneakers for their glam sportswear day. Khloé added big sunglasses and hoop earrings to her look, while True kept it simple with her hair in a bun and a watch on her wrist.
Dream sported a Versace hoodie for lunch with her dad, Rob Kardashian
Rob Kardashian is the most private of Kris Jenner's kids, but when it comes to his daughter, Dream, it's clear he's a proud papa. The founder of the Grandeza hot sauce line frequently shares adorable photos of Dream on Instagram, like his October 2020 post of his daughter hamming it up for the camera while enjoying an al fresco meal with her dad. For the occasion, Dream was wearing a pink Versace kids' hoodie. Similar hoodies on the Versace website sell for $200 to $400.
On iHeartRadio's "Pretty Messed Up" podcast in November of 2020 (via E! Online), Kris Jenner shared that Rob's parenting skills came naturally to him. "His daughter Dream is great and he's so in love with that kid," the legendary momager and founder of the household cleaning brand Safely said. Added Kris, "He's always been a caretaker."
Ralph Lauren sent Kim Kardashian West's son Saint a custom-made jacket
"There's something so special about having a big family," mom of four Kim Kardashian West told Parents in 2021, "and I'm happy my babies get that experience the way I did."
There are definitely a lot of perks to growing up as a Kardashian kid, and one of those is the custom designer gifts. Take the custom-made bomber jacket Ralph Lauren sent to Kim's second-born, Saint, in 2016. "Thank you Mr. Ralph Lauren for making Saint this little jacket," Kim wrote in a caption on Instagram. "It's so special! We will cherish it forever! #ItsRalphThough."
Similar jackets retail for $500 to $600 on the Ralph Lauren site. But considering the bespoke nature of the piece Saint got, this gift is likely worth a lot more. On the inside lining of the jacket, Saint's name is printed in large lettering. And a handwritten note from Mr. Lauren himself was included as part of the gift. Priceless!
Three generations of Kardashians wore Dolce & Gabbana for Harper's Bazaar Arabia
When Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Stormi Webster appeared on the July 2019 cover of Harper's Bazaar Arabia, it checked a new box for the famous clan: their first magazine cover shoot featuring three generations of their family. All three wore designer outfits in leopard print from Dolce & Gabbana — Kris in an off-shoulder dress, Kylie in a pantsuit, and Stormi in a sundress. Kris' sunglasses took the theme a bit further, in the shape of the letters "D" and "G."
How much did all of it cost? Well, D&G's kids' dresses sell for $300 to $3,600, while women's dresses are in the multi-thousand-dollar range. Harper's Bazaar Arabia's editor in chief, Salma Awwad, shared that including Stormi on the cover was Kylie's idea — and she came prepared. According to Awwad, when they arrived on set to shoot the cover, Kylie pulled Stormi's D&G dress from her purse!
True Thompson kept up with her mom in a Balenciaga swimsuit
The Kardashians never miss a chance to snap that next perfect swimsuit photo, and True Thompson has been making waves in designer duds. In a February 2021 Instagram post, Khloé Kardashian shared cute photos of her daughter, True, enjoying some pool time with her mom and cousins Dream and Chicago. For the occasion, True was in a Balenciaga bathing suit. Khloé wore huge hoop earrings, while the Kardashian kids posed with the perfect summer accessory for a hot, sunny day: a popsicle. Khloé captioned her post, "My girls!!! Always and forever!"
While it's not known how much True's cost, adult versions by the designer are around $500 to $750. Balenciaga's not the only designer brand, though, that True has rocked in the pool. In 2020, Khloé shared a snap on Instagram of True enjoying the sun in a Burberry suit.
Kylie Jenner's daughter, Stormi, has a kid-sized Hermes bag worth $8,000
The right accessory can make or break an outfit, and Stormi Webster showed everyone how it's done with a pint-sized Hermes Birkin bag on mom Kylie Jenner's Instagram in April 2019. Stormi's bag — adult versions have legendary waiting lists and run anywhere from $40,000 to $500,000 — was a bargain, estimated at around only $8,000, according to Insider.
Stormi's got the perfect place to bring her boss bag to: the Kylie Cosmetics headquarters. On the second episode of her 2021 YouTube series, "Inside Kylie Cosmetics," the Kylie Skin founder joked that Stormi "has her own office where she gets all her business done" and added that her daughter is "actually launching a little secret brand soon that we've been working on for a while." That secret project? Probably Kylie Baby.
What would also go great in CEO Stormi's office? The $25,000 stuffed-animals chair gifted to her by her dad, rapper Travis Scott (via Bravo).
Kylie Jenner gifted Stormi a diamond ring for Christmas
Christmas 2019 was a big one for Stormi Webster. She and Kylie Jenner slayed in matching mommy-and-me Ralph & Russo couture gowns, and then Santa outdid himself with one of her gifts: a diamond ring! Kylie shared a video on her Instagram Stories of Stormi flashing a ring featuring two diamonds on the band (via the UK's Metro). While we don't know the ring's exact price, any look little Stormi rocks while wearing that ring will be just another expensive outfit worn by a Kardashian kid.
To Harper's Bazaar in 2020, Kylie shared that she's taking steps to make sure Stormi understands how "blessed" their lives are. "I'm just trying my best, even though she's still little, to remind her how blessed we are and that this isn't normal, the way we live," she said. "It's just our life. People want to take pictures. I think she would feel differently if I was always covering her face like, 'Don't look!'"
So far, Stormi and her cousins have got their real-life runway style down to an art.
