Kenya Moore Has This To Say About Porsha Williams' RHOA Exit
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is one of the most popular installments of the beloved "Real Housewives" franchise. The dramatic series began in 2008 and has entertained legions of fans for over a dozen seasons. While each of the ladies contributes to the widespread appeal of the series, a few housewives, in particular, have an extra pull. Unfortunately, a few of the franchise's biggest stars have announced their intentions to leave the series. After breakout star NeNe Leakes left the series at the end of Season 12 (via Us Weekly), Cynthia Bailey revealed she won't be returning for Season 14. The reality star wrote on Instagram, "After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult and heartfelt decision not to return for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Thank you NBC Universal, Bravo, and Truly Original for over a decade of partnership. I can't wait to see what we do next!"
Following Bailey's heartbreaking revelation, her co-star, Porsha Williams, shared a similar update. Williams wrote on Instagram, "After ten life-changing, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter. Next season, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise." Upon hearing this news, Kenya Moore had some thoughts (via Page Six).
Kenya Moore is happy for Porsha Williams following her decision
After competing on the latest episode of "Dancing With the Stars," Kenya Moore told Entertainment Tonight that she supports Porsha Williams' exit from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." She said, "I think people should do what makes them happy, and if that makes her happy, then good for her." Moore also speculated on the growing rumors that the series is looking to make more cast changes. In response to the theory that "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" friend of the show, Marlo Hampton, may fill a spot, she mused, "Oh, I never say never. I just feel like, you just never say never. I'll leave it there. Never say never. I'm happy for her too, if that's true."
As far as her own future on the series, a few fans are worried that Moore won't be allowed to film "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" because she's currently on "Dancing With the Stars." However, the former Miss USA set the record straight. Moore explained, "Well, I guess if there was an ultimatum, I guess we know which one I chose. I've always wanted to do this show. I'm here. I'm loving every minute of it. I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. Of course I love doing 'Housewives' and having that opportunity, so I think it will work itself out."
