If Cody Rigsby Is Your Favorite Peloton Instructor, You Need These Items
There is no one quite like Cody Rigsby — on Peloton or in the world. Whether you're an avid biker or not, you've likely heard at least one of the Peloton instructor's pep talks (read: loving rants) about the things that he believes in. You know, like the Free Britney movement or his opinion on which Disney prince is the hottest. If you're looking to sprinkle a little more Rigsby into your life, there are some items that he would definitely approve of.
From talking about what he believes in to wearing short running shorts, Rigsby is iconic in every sense of the word. Heck, he's so iconic that he's even on Season 30 of "Dancing With The Stars", and slowly but surely becoming a household name, even in the households that don't have a Peloton subscription. If you'd like to show your support on and off the ride, here is all the Cody-approved swag available out there.
Cody Rigsby has unofficial merch
Cody Rigsby is one of those people who can put a smile on anyone's face, and there are some items of his that can instantly make you think of him when you see them. For instance, without even hearing the pitch of his "You do you boo!," you know Rigsby is around when you see these items. The first is his iconic "XOXO, Cody" shirt, obviously. While he doesn't officially have merch made, this shirt is definitely his statement look. He wears the phrase on t-shirts during his rides and even just around town. Now, you can wear it too.
The "XOXO, Cody" crewneck ($7.74) is available on Etsy in, get this, unisex sizing. If that doesn't scream Cody Rigsby, then I don't know what does. On top of that, you can also snag the look in 12 different colors and eight different sizes. There's unofficial Rigsby merch for just about anyone in your life.
If that's a little too bland for you, you can also shop for clothing items with his other iconic sayings, like this tank that says "get your life together, boo!" also on Etsy ($22.50) (via CNN). Every time you put it on, you'll hear Rigsby's voice giving you words of encouragement.
Items that Cody Rigsby would approve of
If wearing obviously Cody Rigsby merch isn't your flavor, you could always just wear something the Peloton instructor would approve of. For instance, Rigsby is definitely not shy when it comes to topics like pride and the Free Britney movement. As CNN points out, a Britney Spears shirt would definitely get a thumbs up from Rigsby. The Peloton instructor has made it clear he wants Britney to be freed of his conservatorship, according to Just Jared. So, don't think of this as just merch, but more of a political statement as well.
On top of that, the Peloton instructor is also a fan of Barbie, according to his Instagram. While there hasn't been a Barbie-themed ride just yet, Risgby is often seen on social media wearing the logo. You could easily scour Etsy or Poshmark to get some secondhand items or, you know, head to your local mall to snag them as well (via Houstonia Mag). Wherever you decide to shop, if it's bold and bright, it's likely Rigsby-approved.
Cody Rigsby helped design Peloton merch
There's more loud and proud Cody Rigsby-inspired merch out there, like a line he actually helped create with Peloton. According to InStyle, Rigsby's love for the '90s helped inspire the ADIDAS x Peloton Collection. "I'm someone who uses clothes and apparel and style to express myself. And so it's been really a joyful experience to collaborate with the Peloton apparel team, the Adidas team, my colleagues, Ally and Robin, and come up with this dope collection," he told the publication.
According to the Peloton website, the collaboration is currently sold out. However, there are tons of other designs that you can stock up on. Rigsby is often seen rocking his Peloton gear on social media, so he would likely approve of you getting some of your own. The Peloton Uptown Vibe Shorts ($56) and Show Up High Neck Bra ($54) in pink are two that give off the positive vibes of a ride with Rigsby.
There are so many options out there when it comes to having a Rigsby-inspired look, but there's one thing you'll want to accessorize any of these looks with — your own personality, just like Rigsby does.
