Inside Chris Cuomo's Hamptons Home

In a family full of big personalities, Chris Cuomo has always paved his own way. The licensed attorney and journalist is best known for his evening news show on CNN, "Cuomo Primetime." In Cuomo's downtime, however, he's kicking back and enjoying time with his wife, Cristina, and three children, Bella, Mario, and Carolina. The family lives in a beautiful home in the Hamptons, which viewers of Cuomo's show got a sneak peek at during the weeks he broadcasted from home while battling COVID-19 in 2020 (per Washington Post).

The beautifully airy but sophisticated home is the work of architect Stephen Rossetti and decorator Emma Pilkington. "I wanted it to feel young, to be relaxed, and yet still be elegant," Pilkington told Elle Decor. "But not seem studied, because that's not Chris and Cristina."

The Cuomos briefly debated parting with the property in 2019, during which more details came out. "Sitting behind a clipped hedgerow on more than half of an acre, the two-story shingle-clad traditional has five bedrooms and four bathrooms in about 3,000 square feet," Dirt reported.

The crowning glory of Chris Cuomo's living room is an antique stone fireplace

A beautiful front porch on the Southampton home takes you from the grassy front lawn into the beautiful and spacious living spaces of the Cuomo family. The living room's central piece is an antique 19th-century stone fireplace that Cristina Greeven Cuomo inherited from her grandmother.

"The green veins coursing through the marble of a 19th-century fireplace Cristina inherited from her maternal grandmother, for instance, led the designer to repeat the color in adjacent ground-floor rooms as well as in a decorative panel painted by her artist sister, Amy Pilkington," Elle Decor said of the home.

The first floor also includes a cozy eat-in kitchen and a guest bedroom and bathroom. Then, of course, there are stairs to the home's basement, which turned into Cuomo's home and office during his battle with COVID-19. The basement consists of another guest bedroom and bathroom, as well as a laundry room.

The Hamptons home was listed for a pretty penny

Chris Cuomo and Cristina Greeven Cuomo's Southampton home features an additional two bedrooms on the second floor (per Dirt). There's also the master suite, complete with a marble bathroom.

The yard is just as splendid as the home. It is surrounded by tall privet hedges and manicured trees dotting a picture-perfect lawn. There's a 38-foot-long rectangular swimming pool and a detached two-car garage. There's also a separate bicycle storage room, vegetable and cutting gardens, and an outdoor shower. It's proved the perfect place for the family to hunker down during the pandemic.

If the two were to part with the home, they could expect a pretty penny for it. They purchased the home for $1.3 million in 2005 before they got to work on a remodel (per Observer). When they listed the home in 2019, it was for $2.9 million. It's unclear whether the Cuomos will decide to keep the house or let it go, but there's no denying it served them well when they least expected it.
