The Real Housewives Of Miami Season 4 - Here's What We Can Tell Fans So Far
"The Real Housewives of Miami" originally ran on Bravo from February 22, 2011 to November 14, 2013. As the seventh installment in this reality franchise, it focused on women in Miami, Florida (via Bravo TV).
While the show was cancelled, it was given a second chance and is set to release on the Peacock streaming service. "We've all been meeting with Peacock and talking to them, and there are always conversations about different Bravo IPs that could work on Peacock," Andy Cohen told Variety. "And I was very dogmatic that there is a big fanbase for Miami Housewives that has been wanting it to be brought back. I see what people are asking for on Twitter, and that's one of those shows that was a constant."
When will it return, though? Who will be featured in the rebooted series? What is known about "RHOM" Season 4 so far? Continue reading to get all the details!
When will RHOM release?
Rumors of another season of "The Real Housewives of Miami" first popped up in November 2020, as reported by Us Weekly, and in February 2021, there was confirmation of its return (via Entertainment Tonight).
In June of this year, irealhousewives stated that filming had started up and that fans could expect Season 4 later this year. However, there are also reports that we won't see its return until May 2022 (via MTOnews).
While there has not been an official release date, there have been updates on the filming process. In particular, rhom.peacock shared on Twitter that the stars were filming intro looks and cast photos on August 23 and that the new trailer could be coming soon. The account also shared on Instagram news of Lisa Hochstein and Marysol Patton filming confessionals for Season 4. So, yes, fans will apparently see at least these two vets on their screens again.
Who will star in Season 4 of RHOM?
So far, it has been confirmed that Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, and Marysol Patton will be returning for Season 4 of "The Real Housewives of Miami" (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet), and there have been rumors that Patton will just be a friend (via Page Six). Still, according to Page Six, those who previously appeared on the series had to re-audition.
Lea Black and Joanna Krupa shared that they would not be coming back, as reported by TMZ. Past stars of the show also included Cristy Rice, Ana Quincoces, and Karent Sierra.
Several rumors of new housewives have been circulating, as well, such as Orianne Cevey, Paulina Rubio (via Page Six), Kiki Barth, Nicole Martin, Guerdy Abraira, and Julia Lemigova. If Lemigova, who is a former Miss USSR and married to tennis player Martina Navratilova, is a full-time member of the cast, she will be the first lesbian to be out and to be part of "RHOM." (Braunwyn-Wyndham-Burke of "RHOC" came out during her second and final season, as stated by Instinct Magazine).
What new details have been released about this reality series?
The stars have been spotted filming over the past few months, and an insider told Page Six in July that Alexia Echevarria, Marysol Patton, Adriana de Moura, Kiki Barth, Nicole Martin, Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova were all seen celebrating Larsa Pippen's birthday at Kiki on the River, where "all the ladies were standing on the chairs ... waving their napkins ... and [drinking] a lot of champagne."
De Moura spoke with "Behind the Velvet Rope" on the upcoming season, saying she thought Pippen only rejoined "to be relevant again," following her fallout with the Kardashians (via Instagram).
And a fan on Twitter shared news of a "ego power trip" between de Moura and Echevarria: "Producers are pegging Alexia as the grand Dame of Miami; Adriana feels like she will be more of the fan favorite because she's shady and fun." Between all the glam get-togethers and the action-packed arguments, "RHOM" is sure to bring the drama ... and soon!
