Of All Of Hailey Bieber's Looks, This Stands Above The Rest
As a model, Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) is quite the fashion icon. Of all the looks she has served and shown off over the years, though, which is her best?
There have been Bieber's funky ensembles on the runways and luxurious pieces on the covers of magazines. There is her signature streetwear style, such as her oversized Magda Butrym suit worn with Nike Air Jordans, as featured by Elle. And there are the showstoppers she wears to events, like her red gown with a cut-out and a slit, seen at Elton John's AIDS Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party in 2016 (via Insider).
These were all stylish and memorable outfits, but they were not Bieber's best. No, her most iconic fashion moment came in 2019, and it is one we all surely remember, one we all probably think of every now and then, and one we tried to copy (or at least wished we could replicate!).
It's hard to forget this Hailey Bieber look
The Met Gala is the place to see over-the-top and stand-out looks, and Hailey Bieber first started attending in 2015, wearing designs from Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger, and, of course, Alexander Wang in 2019. The dress in question was a floor-length gown in a light pink color. It was fitted with long sleeves, and the entire back was open, showing off her dainty tattoos ... and a matching pink thong, which spelled out "WANG" in silver letters.
Hailey was escorted by the designer, as Justin Bieber was not there. She accessorized with Bvlgari diamond earrings, and her hair was worn in a high and flirty ponytail, which was done by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin and which was finished off with a black bow (via E! News). The look was feminine, it was daring, and it was one that stood out at the gala and beyond, going down in history as this model's most iconic fashion moment.
