What Kim Kardashian Really Looks Like Underneath All That Makeup
Few people exude glamour more than Kim Kardashian, the middle Kardashian sister from the long-running and iconic reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." For 20 seasons on-screen and in real life, Kardashian wowed with her long black locks that always shined no matter what she was doing. Her makeup was and is always impeccable in front of the camera and when stepping out. The full lips, dark eyes, contoured cheeks, and flawless skin are all part of her glamour trademark.
To top it all off, Kardashian is a mom to four kids with Kanye West, the husband she is in the process of divorcing as of this writing (via People). As any mom would tell you, four kids can keep a woman on her toes nearly 24/7, even with help around. Despite having that amount of mom work to do, Kardashian always finds the time to look her best — even when she's wearing no makeup at all.
How Kim Kardashian keeps herself looking flawless
Kim Kardashian admitted she doesn't skimp when it comes to taking care of her skin. In fact, in 2018, People reported that the reality star spends a whopping $4,500 on products that make her look as good as she does. "I love to try out new beauty and skincare products, but there are some that I'll just never give up," she wrote on her blog (via People). "I've gotten into such a good routine because I use products that work together and really see results."
Kardashian confessed to finding the time for 10 p.m. facials and using some of the most expensive products around, including a $510 anti-aging serum, a $245 night cream, and a $200 eye cream. She also swears by microdermabrasion and wrote about it on her app, which, as of this writing, is being rebuilt.
"Microdermabrasion is such a good treatment option for anyone with sun damage, discoloration, acne scars, and other blemishes," Kardashian said (via W Magazine). "I love doing this type of treatment during the spring and summer, as the sun can be SO damaging to the skin. This at-home tool deeply exfoliates the top layer of your skin to reveal brighter and smoother skin."
With or without makeup, Kardashian always looks amazing.
Kim Kardashian gets ready to relaunch her beauty line
In 2017, Kim Kardashian launched KKW Beauty, her own beauty line featuring her favorite types of products, starting with nothing more than some contouring kits — as her chiseled cheeks are such a KK signature. At the time, she was using her married name, Kim Kardashian West, hence the KKW. Eventually, she released a perfume line, too, called KKW Fragrances, according to People.
In August 2021, she announced that all of that was going to change, just like her last name had changed earlier in the year to only using her maiden name again after filing for divorce from Kanye West. She took to Instagram to assure all of her fans and customers of her company that something bigger and better was coming.
"To our loyal customers, It all started with a contour kit and expanded to eyes, lips, body, and many incredible collections over the past four years. On August 1st at midnight we will be shutting down the KKWBeauty.com site so that we can come back to you under a completely new brand with new formulas that are more modern, innovative, and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look," she wrote (via People). "I'm excited to continue to develop and expand my product range and for you to finally be able to experience it the way that I have always envisioned. In addition, my team is hard at work to improve the customer shopping experience where you will be able to purchase my beauty and cosmetic offerings in all categories from one single website."
She also thanked fans for sticking with her. "Thank you so much for being on this incredible journey with me, and I promise we won't be gone for too long," she said.
How mom-of-four Kim Kardashian does it all
With four kids underfoot — North, 8; Saint, 5; Chicago, 3; and Psalm, 2 — Kim Kardashian has managed to stay fit and glamorous while also starring in a hit reality show, running her own cosmetics brand, and studying law. That's an amazing feat for any woman, so how does she handle her parenting duties while juggling her professional life? She explained to Parents Magazine that her personality matches her parenting style. "I'm naturally very calm, which I think translates into my parenting," she said. "I don't get super-stressed or impatient, which I think is definitely a superpower when you have three kids age 5 and under running around."
She also just loves having a big family, considering she grew up with a host of siblings. "They get along so well and have so much love for each other. It reminds me of growing up with Kourtney, Khloé, and Rob," she said. "There's something so special about having a big family, and I'm happy my babies get that experience the way I did."
