The Surprising New Romance Budding On Selling Sunset
Chrishell Stause and her boss Jason Oppenheim have made their relationship Instagram official. The "Selling Sunset" co-stars are dating, and ready to show off their newfound love on social media.
Taking to her account, the realtor, who was formerly married to actor Justin Hartley — he has since found love with Sofia Perna — shared a series of vacation images taken in Capri, Italy, captioning the reel, "The JLo effect" (via People). Stause was apparently referring to recent, PDA pictures taken of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in the same locale (via Harper's Bazaar).
The new couple's "Selling Sunset" co-stars, who were also featured in the photos, quickly jumped into the comments section of Stause's post to share their thoughts about the duo going public with their romance, with Amanza Smith writing, "love you both! So happy it's out!! Ahhhh we can all just be normal now! Happy!!!! Makes me sooooo happy for you both!!"
Meanwhile, Mary Fitzgerald, who also used to date Oppenheim, noted, "Nothing makes me more excited than to see two of my closest friends together and making each other so happy." And, Fitzgerald's husband, Romain Bonnet, joked, "So happy for you guys ! Finally people will stop with Jason and Mary hopefully" (via Us Weekly).
Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim have both dated co-stars before
Oppenheim himself simply added a red heart emoji to Stause's post, while his twin brother, Brett, commented, "Love you Chrishell. Thank you for making my brother happy."
Meanwhile, Stause's new man opened up to People about the relationship, telling the outlet, "Chrishell and I became close friends and it has developed into an amazing relationship. I care about her deeply and we are very happy together."
Ironically, according to Page Six, Oppenheim previously said dating a co-worker was a bad idea. He added about his love life as it related to getting romantic with a co-star, "It's not that I've taken a step back from dating — it's not on my priority list to be honest. And no, that wouldn't be a priority for me. I think that would be complicated."
Also, this isn't the first co-star Stause has dated either, with the star having previously gone out with Keo Motsepe, whom she met on "Dancing With the Stars."
