The Truth About Kendall Jenner And A$AP Rocky's Relationship
Kendall Jenner tends to keep her romantic relationships under wraps, to the extent the model and reality star was forced to, rather infamously, come out as straight during an interview with Vogue back in 2018. At the time, she was rumored to be quietly seeing athlete Blake Griffin, with Jenner reasoning, "I think it's because I'm not like all my other sisters, who are like, 'Here's me and my boyfriend!' So it was a thing for a minute because no one ever saw me with a guy."
The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star even admitted, "I would always go that extra mile to be low-key with guys, sneaking around all the time. You don't want to, like, look crazy." As a result, she's been linked with several high-profile men over the years, including former One Direction star Harry Styles. One of the more interesting additions to Jenner's alleged roster of famous boyfriends was rapper A$AP Rocky, with whom she was briefly but memorably linked.
They were friends for a long time first
According to Life & Style, model Kendall Jenner and hip hop star A$AP Rocky were friends for years before gradually becoming more than that. People noted that they started getting close over the summer of 2016, taking in nights out and presumed dates in Paris, where they visited one of Jenner's favorite restaurants. As fall moved into winter, the rumored couple was seen in L.A. and Miami, where they were acting "very flirty" according to an insider. The duo subsequently had dinner at Nobu Malibu, alongside some of his friends, and notably left together in her car. Jenner and Rocky then returned to Paris, leading a source to confirm in March 2017 that she was open to getting more serious with him. Naturally, Coachella was a given and indeed the model and rapper were spotted "all over each other" at the festival as per an eyewitness.
They spent some quality time hanging out in NYC prior to the 2017 Met Gala, where Jenner's BFF Hailey Baldwin joined them for some retail therapy. Jenner's sister Kylie took an iconic bathroom selfie (via Instagram) at the event itself, in which Jenner and Rocky were proudly snuggling up, while they were said to be inseparable both at the Gala and the requisite afterparties.
A few months later, though, things were over between Jenner and Rocky. A source told Us Weekly they ultimately split because the two "weren't seeing each other a lot. They weren't really official but were obviously dating. Their schedules are really hard."
