Who Is Real Housewives Of Potomac's Karen Huger?
"The Real Housewives of Potomac" is back, returning for a for a sixth, drama-filled season. Newcomers Mia Thornton and Askale Davis (also known as Ethi-Oprah) will join the show's veteran cast members Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Dr Wendy Osefo, and Robyn Dixon (via Variety). However, for some fans, the Grande Dame of Potomac herself, Karen Huger, is the real star of the show. But, what else is there to know about Karen Huger of "RHOP"?
According to her official Bravo TV bio, Huger grew up on her large family farm in Virginia, where her family have lived for over 100 years. Huger is said to have picked up her strong work ethic and family values from her late father, who sadly passed away in 2018.
As a young adult, Huger attended the University of Virginia, and later ventured into the worlds of beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. In recent years, she launched her very own signature fragrance, La'Dame by Karen Huger.
Karen has a stunning net worth
According to Screenrant, Karen Huger's career ventures outside of "The Real Housewives of Potomac," earning her some serious dough. She is estimated to be worth around $10 million. Elsewhere, her husband of more than 20 years, Raymond Huger – the president and CEO of a technology company – also rakes in the cash and is reportedly worth a whopping $40 million.
Karen and Ray also share two children together, daughter Rayvin and son Brandon, both of whom have grown up and moved out of the family home. Speaking on The Daily Dish podcast in August 2020, Karen discussed the joys of being the parent of two adult children.
"It's so great to have adult children. I'm so blessed that they are grown," the "RHOP" star commented. "They are fantastic. Brandon has an impressive career going on. Rayvin is wrapping up her masters this fall. I couldn't be prouder of my children and the love and support."
