The Highlighter That Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's Makeup Artist Swears By
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is such a beauty aficionado she runs her own dedicated site, Rose Inc., on which the supermodel shared, among many other things, her skincare routine (spoiler alert: it's involved). Considering she spends much of her time having makeup slathered on her perfect skin by some of the best in the business, it makes total sense Huntington-Whiteley has picked up a few tips over the years. In fact, she's the proud face of bareMinerals — and with good reason.
The British supermodel is known for glowing from within but, as she told Marie Claire, that glow comes from an unlikely place, namely the bareMinerals Original Loose Powder Mineral Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 ($32 from Sephora). She gushed, "It makes my skin look really luminous and glowy. Plus, the powder is mineral-based, which means it's as clean as it can be."
When Huntington-Whiteley is looking for slightly more of a glow, though, her makeup artist reaches for the following product.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's natural glow is enhanced with this product
As E! News notes, celebrity makeup artist and BECCA Global Makeup Ambassador Nikki Wolf, who frequently works on the gorgeous Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, uses the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter ($38 from Sephora) to amp up her natural glow. The finely milled and pressed, rather than liquid, highlighter reportedly "accentuates your complexion by making your cheekbones pop with its shimmery and buildable texture" by amplifying "how light is reflected." Wolf typically applies it to the stunning Victoria's Secret Angel's cheek and brow bones. The product works equally well over liquid or powder foundation, too, so there's little risk of looking cakey or overdone.
According to The Zoe Report, when Huntington-Whiteley is tackling her own makeup, she usually applies highlighter once everything else is done to ensure it only goes on the areas where she needs an extra glow. The "Transformers" star takes her time getting ready too, admitting in an interview with Glamour, "It normally takes me 45 minutes to an hour."
Huntington-Whiteley also revealed that the best beauty advice she ever received was to enhance, rather than hide, your features. As the British supermodel explained, it's all about applying your products with purpose. "Instead of masking something you don't like, enhance the things you do like," Huntington-Whiteley advised.
