How Kevin Hart's Infidelity Affected His Young Daughter

Infidelity is one of those tricky subjects that can be difficult to talk about, but Kevin Hart opened up about his own unfaithful behavior during a chat with Will Smith on "Red Table Talk", Jada Pinkett-Smith's Facebook show (via Page Six). It's a show that often covers some difficult topics, like when Will and Jada's daughter Willow recently discussed both sexuality and growing up famous with Paris Jackson, daughter of late star Michael, but being a Father's Day special, emotions were sure to be running high.

Kevin Hart has four children. Two were with his first wife, Torrei Hart: Heaven was born in 2005, while Hendrix was born in 2007 (via Essence). The couple then divorced, before he married second wife Eniko Parrish, with whom he also has two children. Kenzo was born in 2017, with Kaori arriving in 2020 (via AOL). However, it's not all been happy — here's how Hart's infidelity affected his young daughter.

Kevin Hart's daughter was disappointed in him

"I stepped in some s***, yeah," replied Kevin Hart when Will Smith asked him how his infidelity affected his kids: "You're never prepared for that side of it. Having a little girl in my life, it's tough. You don't realize the impact that your mistakes can truly have. When the kids get involved, it's a different feeling, it's a different emotion ... When your child shows disappointment, shows emotion, shows 'I don't understand why' and you gotta have those conversations, the head drops for the first time" (via Page Six).

"Now you realize there's a different emotional cord that can be pulled on you that nobody else has the privilege of ever touching. My daughter touched on that cord, man," continued Hart, talking about Heaven, now 16. "When me and my wife went through what we went through and the whole cheating display, my talk with Heaven ... That was one like no other. Getting my daughter back, getting my daughter to understand that I'm sorry, that I made a mistake, that was real. To understand, I'm still dad."
