The Truth About Winnie Harlow's Dating History

Born Chantelle Whitney Brown-Young, Winnie Harlow has become an inspiration for many, specifically women of color, as she became a supermodel with vitiligo, a rare condition where parts of the skin are affected by depigmentation. The Canadian native rose to prominence when she was discovered after competing in Cycle 21 of "America's Next Top Model." She had a rocky time on the show, and ultimately placed sixth, but it was only the beginning for her.

Since her time on "ANTM," Harlow has modeled for magazines including i-D, Dazed, Cosmopolitan, and Ebony to name just a few. She's also appeared in advertising campaigns for Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Swarovski, Steve Madden, MAC, and Victoria's Secret. Further, Harlow also became a spokesperson for anti-bullying campaigns and frequently discusses her vitiligo publicly.

While her career is clearly booming, many people are growing more curious about Harlow's personal life, including her love connections. And it seems the famed model has had a few noteworthy stars in her ranks. 

Supermodel Winnie Harlow's first public relationship was with British F1 racer, Lewis Hamilton. Their romance started to blossom in 2017, when they were pictured multiple times together at different events. They originally met in July 2017, but things started to heat up in October. The celebrity couple consistently tried to keep their relationship quiet to no avail. They were last seen together in 2018, with not much known about why they split.

Soon after Hamilton, Harlow got together with rapper Wiz Khalifa in the summer of 2018, after teasing their relationship multiple times on their respective Instagram profiles. They were spotted in public multiple times over the following months, supporting each other and looking quite adorable.

Soon after their breakup in 2019, Wiz Khalifa was photographed with his arms around a mystery woman and fans were quick to tag Harlow in the comments under The Shade Room's Instagram post about it. The model responded, "Lol leave me out of it [red heart emoji] she's pretty tho!" (via E! News).

In late 2019, Winne Harlow sparked romance rumors with singer Maluma, after they were captured dancing and getting cozy at restaurants together. However, not much more is known about the pair's relationship — if there even was one. As for Harlow's current beau, she began dating Kyle Kuzma, who plays basketball professionally for the Lakers, in 2020, but apparently he slid into her DMs a year prior. 

Sadly, the supermodel completely missed his message, as she acknowledged on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2022. As Harlow sweetly recalled, "After a month of being on FaceTime for 24 hours, every single day for a month, he was like, 'You've got to come to LA,' and I've been in LA ever since." Evidently, the "ANTM" alum prefers to keep her relationships quiet, but from the looks of it, they seem as happy as can be.

Winnie Harlow shared a post on Instagram in April 2024 to celebrate the fourth anniversary of her relationship with NBA player Kyle Kuzma. "Happy Anniversary to the love of my life," the model gushed in the accompanying caption. "Four years and an eternity to go to live & learn but most importantly LOVE." Little did she know that less than a year later, that eternity would become closer to reality with a swoon-worthy proposal. 

On February 18, 2025, Kuzma and Harlow joint-posted on Instagram multiple pictures of roses, romance, and a giant sparkler of a ring on her left hand. No caption accompanied the post, but the message was clear: The two were engaged. But just in case there was any doubt, the "ANTM" alum shared a second post of the happy couple celebrating with fireworks, alongside the simple caption: "To eternity #shesaidyes."

The happy couple later revealed some of the details of the proposal, which took place on February 13. They boarded a private plane for what Harlow thought was a Valentine's getaway to Turks & Caico. Though it was filled with roses and champagne, the model still had no clue that Kuzma was about to pop the big question. "I was just like, 'This is so cute for Valentine's Day," she admitted to Vogue. Harlow was so excited that she gave him a giant "yes!" before her beau had even pulled out the ring — an 8.5 carat stunner that Kuzma designed himself. "We're over the moon," Harlow proclaimed.
